Anyone bought themselves a 2 wheeled self-balancing electric scooter?

It iss sad to see people have forgotten the meaning of ibadah, hajj and all the rituals which are supposed to pull you away from materialistic the large towering hotels and now this .... :tsk:
Well if one can use a wheelchair to do tawaf, then comparatively this is less intrusive. MAYBE, the guy has a genuine medical reason to use it?

Wheelchair is when people cant walk, cant even stand...whats this guys reason? Same skeletal structure and muscles are used in different ways to walk and stand (maybe more for walking)...Basically if you can stand for x no. of hrs you can walk for x+ y no. of hrs (maybe slower but you still can)...and as said by many regarding the scooter, he isnt just standing he is also balancing!

I have a colleague, young guy mid 30's he has had a kneecap replacement done. He can stand, he can walk, but only a little bit, not for long distances. He used a wheelchair when he went for umrah.

Maybe
you are just being judgemental, and this guy has a genuine reason for it? Benefit of doubt?

Not judgmental, ALLAH said do ibadah in whichever way you can...if you are injured you are even allowed to preform solat on the bed....

However, like you said you know the guy and he used wheelchair.....In all honesty I cant think of a reason for using this...I have been for Umrah and I have even seen the aged using cane to walk....But they walk....coz for them each step is an ibadah for their Lord....

I want to get one! I'm currently living at a friend's home, as my wife has kicked me out calling me a big baby and screaming at me "why do you want one". I'm determined though. Has anyone bought one? Any experiences?

Do the Chinese make ones with flames coming out and that can travel at 50km per hour? (joking).
It's available on Amazon at 29k Indian rupees
