I want to get one! I'm currently living at a friend's home, as my wife has kicked me out calling me a big baby and screaming at me "why do you want one". I'm determined though. Has anyone bought one? Any experiences?

Do the Chinese make ones with flames coming out and that can travel at 50km per hour? (joking).

there are illegal on public paths and public places. guess you will have to do 50kmh at your mates house.
you need good balance.
there go for about £300 for a decent one

i recommend this if you dont want to break your legs

They're ok in parks mate and I have a large garden. I'm not short of places.
I've seen them for £189 on Ebay, from Chinese firms that have their retail arms here in the UK.
As for skateboard thing, I like watching it but I've never been a fan of riding them.

I have one. Really not that big of a deal as its hyped up to be.

How fast does yours go bro? Have you been able to outrun the local dogs? :yahoo: Pakistan has an endless amount of space.

i got one from ali baba express it was only 350 dollars... and worth every penny...
no they dont trvale 50 km an hour... they travel around 10-15 miles an hour ... i dont know about the flames... maybe its a new thing and i dont why they would have it becuase its dangerous...

Bro I was kidding about the flames and speed. So you are giving it a thumbs up? Where do you ride yours?

About the same pace as fast walking.
Its kind of a gimmick lol, not the same way it was depicted in back to the future lol.

I ride mine in the park.

Hmmmmm I like these kind of things. I'm getting one and playing chicken with the local dogs i.e. annoying them and then making a dash on my scooter.

i ride it on the streets... side walks and even in the mall some times....
i like it man... its hard getting used to at first but its really fun...i say get one.

Thanks, you just convinced me that much more.

you can get them cheap. but you get what you pay for.
nope sorry illegal

The wheeled vehicles, which are an evolution of the infamous Segway “personal transportation device”, are too unsafe to ride on the road, but too dangerous to ride on the pavement, according to legislation. As a result, they are only legal to use on land that is private property, and only with the landowner’s permission, the CPS says.

sorry for ruining your hopes but you can thank me later as if it were not for me you will end up having it confiscated and be given a ticket. you can thank me later.

but if you are at your mates house make sure you ask for his permission as that illegal too!
or if you at your house make sure your wife isn't watching as you may ruin the lawn.

No bro, look.

London’s Royal Parks, however, said that generally, hoverboards aren’t banned but may be restricted by signage in certain areas. A spokesperson added “We pride ourselves on ensuring the Royal Parks are open to everyone.”

I've spoken to my local Five O, and they said the park is cool.

I dont ask daddy for money...Sharam atti hai :(

I need a rich hubby for these type of shouk :(

You're a girl! Every Pakistani dad is around the finger of his little girl!

My brother in law won this mini-segway after sharing a link on instagram. I always thought that was fake and cheap way of publicity but he actually won this segway after sharing a post on instagram.

I tried to use it one day but I was wearing slippers and salwar kameez at that time so it wasn't so easy to operate... but my brother in law has managed to learn it and it has become part of his life... He is around 14-15 years old I think

Cheers
