That's no justification for keeping a portion of your society like animals. A city is unexpandable for everyone why only the poor are outcasted like that. Acs and dish antennas they probably stole from the main city. With extreme poverty comes a crime.

City is unexpandable thats why affordable housing is a non-existent thing in Mumbai, and we haven't kept them like this, they chose it when they came there. Affording a 2 BHK flat on rent is impossible for many 10 LPA+ figure earners even in North Mumbai suburbs. Even in satellite cities it is very expensive, why the hell do you think people legit live as far as Dombivli and beyond to go to Mumbai to work.


And ACs and antennas aren't stolen, they earn enough to purchase them but aren't rich enough to buy a new home.

This is the rent in the North Mumbai suburbs of a 2 BHK unfurnished apartment. The ones in South Mumbai are more than twice as expensive.

Even then massive slum redevelopment programmes are going on which is something not many cities have been able to pull off.
