First of all forget about air launched ATGM

we are talking about Manpad and tank launched anti tank missile like merkava fires from its turet LAHAT MISSILE

as far as i know our AL KHALID launches russian sniper type ATGM which is good but cannot panetrate merkava Trophy call defence and armour

Reason why im saying merkava brcoz it is most safe and heavily armoured tank if we have ATGM which gives gurantee kill on Merkava than all IA tanks are no issud

With current inventory only TOW ATGM we have latest

MILAN and baktar shikan is useless on new armour they are decade old

Now see what infia has LAHAT, KORNET,LATEST MILAN,SPIKE, ETC

we are relying on TOW WHICH IS VEST WHAT WE GOT

BAKTAR SHIKEN CANNOT PANETRATE NEW ARMOUR

we need new latest ATGM weather we develop it with china or ordering our mindset should be destroying the best armoured tank

Hamas don't have sophisticated stuff.... Usually markeva hit them from a safe distance

While hizbullah had some success against markeva in 2006 war

If a country has such sensitive capabilities to develop critical missile systems, Next step should not be to look for others' anti-tank missile systems. What Pakistani defence strategists should do is to either find a reliable partner for co-development or charge Pakistani missile manufacturer to develop a missile system which will be an equivalent of TOW or Javelin missiles under indigenous development project model.

Exactly! We need to do a J.V with either you or China in this matter. We should opt for Mizrak and its variants as they are currently being fielded unlike the Chinese counterparts which are still under trial and tests. Not calling them bad or anything but by the time they are in use Mizrak will have matured, evolved and upgraded.

HJ-12 is a new development from the Chinese. It definitely looks like a solid Top-attack ATGM system. Eventually Pakistan will buy it no doubt.

Dont forget markeva is a failed tank when it comes to fight the infantry.
Markeva has its engine on front and is more like a APC then a tank. They put its engine on front just to protect its crew.

Hamas also destroyed markeva from a very short range from back just with RPGs markeva lacks protection from its down (belly) one hit there you can see the mighty markeva blown into bits.

As for our AK(al -khalid) they are made for first shots you hit enemy tank with your powerful ulkraine made gun you win but if enemy hits you first its a luck for you if you still live with your poor steel.

the bakthar shikan was able to penetrate the frontal amour of a m-84 tank. the isreali tank will stank for of a chance as its newer , more advanced, and likely the US helped developed it amour.

I dont know why people take markeva really a beast, tanks can easily be destroyed by anti-tank equipment remember the 1973 ramadan War?
Hundreds of israeli tanks (not markevas) destroyed by egyptian infantry.

Markeva is not even tried in tank vs tank battle this heavy peice of steel might be strong but not fast.
