Saudi outlets reported that a damaged fighter jet just landed.

It's true that F 15 was hit with an old and outdated R27 T but one engine was damaged as it seems, Yemenis have chnaged R27 missiles functionality to be used as SAM systems.

Wiki says that speed of missile is 4.5 mach which is almost equal to 0.65359 kilometer per second. It takes 19 to 20 seconds to reach the fighter jet according to video clip. So with a simple approximation distance from fighter jet was 12 Km, not to mention that with having the angle of missile firing, the altitude of fighter jet can be calculated approximately. Approximation is 8 to 10 Km if the angle is supposed to be 45 degree.

The radar system that is being used by Yemenis possibly belongs to S125/pechora Soviet made SAM, with 20 to 35 Km range. So the possibilities proves that it was an R27 programmed to be engaged with S125/pechora engagement radar.
