Do you think there is going to be another Hezbollah - Israel war?
In 2006:

Hezbollah had only unguided short-range rockets that were unable to reach important cities in Israel.they had only few Iranian man-pad SAMs( misaq-1), useless Iranian drones (mohajer),no high quality Anti-tank missiles ,etc.

In 2014:

Hezbollah has a decent number of highly accurate Fateh-110 ballistic missiles (range:300 km,CEP: less than 10 meters, half ton warhead) beside thousands of Fajr rockets.they have SAM-8,17 and Misaq-2 as SAMs and they have got Scan eagle UAVs and suicide UAVs as well.in case of Anti-tank missiles, they have lots of Dehlavieh missiles(copy of cornet) and in case of anti-ship missiles, they have P-800s and Noor/Qader missiles as well.

FT-110 missiles are so accurate that we have put them in service as Anti-ship missile too!

That would ruin their reputation.
either a treaty with Israel for protection or face a total annihition from Suunis in Syria-Lebanon.

So you've seem to ignore my post. You're an ignorant who sympathize Hezbollat, go look at Yarmuk now. I wanna repost this again for you, i am sure your parents and the grands know this but their little son (you) too brainwash to sympathize those "anti Suuni" org.
The Lebanese Shia and Christians slaughtered thousands of the "Palestinians" and Suuni Lebanese during the civil war, they also had help from Israeli and Syrian invasion back when Hafez and Sharon was in power. Hassan Nassrallat was a member of the Amal Movement back then, the organization committed a massacre against the "Palestinians" as well.

Hezboshaytan are nothing a full of scumbag who is destroying the Lebanese society, dragging Lebanon into a civil war, causing a greater risk for "Palestinian" refugees. Hezbollat is aiding Assad who completely destroyed and besieged Yarmuk city forced "Palestinians" to starve and the city is a "majority Palestinian city".

Stop being an hypocrite a "Palestinian Hazzy", I once supported Hezbollat then I regretted it. They are puppets of Assad and Iran who is killing Suunis. Forget about them and get some glory once they are obliterated

Wrong. They had many Fajr-3 and modified Uragans with range 50 km which attacked Haifa, some Fajr-5 and Zelzal-1.

they had only few Iranian man-pad SAMs( misaq-1)
Wrong. They had SA-24 Igla.

no high quality Anti-tank missiles ,etc.
Wrong. They had modern Kornet and Metis-M. Also TOW which is pretty high quailty.

No, they don't have thousands Fajrs. Besides this all is useless in war and only good to terrorise civilians.

they have SAM-8,17
No, they dont have.

and they have got Scan eagle UAVs and suicide UAVs as well
Useless junk.

in case of Anti-tank missiles, they have lots of Dehlavieh missiles(copy of cornet)
In 2006 they had original Russian Kornets, much better than poor copy.

and in case of anti-ship missiles, they have P-800s and Noor/Qader missiles as well.
They had Noor in 2006, but unlike 2006 Israeli is prepared to this threat.

Sorry but you know nothing.

Hezbollat is too busy in Syria while Suuni Lebanese militias will finish them off in Lebanon anyway, Israel doesn't care about them anymore since they rather have them than Suuni govt will take over after Assad right @500?

Stop being an hypocrite a "Palestinian Hazzy", I once supported Hezbollat then I regretted it. They are puppets of Assad and Iran who is killing Suunis. Forget about them and get some glory once they are obliterated. :D

Hassan Nasrallah was never an Amal member. Hezbollah fought with the Palestinians against the Amal movement during the War of the Camps. I'm not a party or supporter of any faction in here, but don't parrot lies. Syria supported Amal and Iran supported Hezbollah.

Hezbollah: A Short History - Augustus R. Norton - Google Books

EU agrees to put Hezbollah armed wing on terror list | Page 2

He is confusing Hezbollah with Amal. Amal is a Syrian backed Shia militia founded by Musa al Sadr. Amal slaughtered many Palestinians and fought against Hezbollah during the War of the Camps. Amal was backded by Syria and Hezbollah by Iran.

Whatever Hezbollah did in support of Palestinians 30 years ago does not excuse whatever they do now, but your claims about Nasrallah being an Amal member is plain libel and false.

Edit: actually Nasrallah did join Amal in 1975, but he left Amal for Hezbollah in 1982 before Amal started massacring Palestinians in the War of the Camps in 1985. After he joined, Hezbollah fought against Amal in that war. Nasrallah is not responsible for Palestinian deaths in the War of the Camps.

War of the Camps - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Syrian Army did back Amal in committing massacres against Palestinians, and now Hezbollah and Amal are together with Syria, but Nasrallah didn't kill Palestinians thirty years ago and Hezbollah stood against Amal back then.

Amal Movement is in Syria fighting alongside with Assad so does that means Iran and Hezbollah want Assad killed or are they heavily involved in the conflict assisting Assad?

In spring 1975, the outbreak of civil war urged the Nasrallah family to leave Beirut to join his village of origin, Bazourié, located just outside the city of Tire in southern Lebanon. Hassan then began a first experience of politics as a militant in the movement Amal.

We agree that Amal and Syrian army committed the massacres in the Palestinian camps thirty years ago, but Nasrallah had left Amal and fought against them during that time, and anyway it doesn't have anything to do with what is happening currently in Syria.

I think Al-Akhbar is biased towards Assad but they admit Amal's role in killing Palestinians.

Lebanon in the Eyes of Palestinian Refugees | Al Akhbar English

I asked a group of young men sitting in a cafe by the cemetery about their opinion of Lebanese people. Their responses varied depending on their political affiliations. “I respect Hezbollah, they’re fighting Israel,” said one man. “But I can’t stand the Lebanese Forces and I can’t forget what they and the Amal movement did to us.”

“Samir Geagea apologized for what happened during the civil war and Abbas Zaki apologized for what we did. That’s why we should open a new page,” he said.

But what about the Amal movement?

“Everyone apologized for what they did during the civil war except Nabih Berri. He did not apologize for what he did to us during the War of the Camps,” Taqa said.

Iran-Hezbollah fought against Syria-Amal in the War of the Camps, then Iran and Syria arranged a ceasefire after the war between the two parties and agreed to ally them together. Now you can accuse Hezbollah of committing war crimes and massacres in Syria, I'm not a supporter of Hezbollah or Assad, but don't link Hezbollah and Nasrallah to Amal's crimes from 1985 because they did not commit them and fought against the killers at that time. I would agree that Assad is committing war crimes in Syria now and that Hezbollah is aiding him now, not in 1985-1986.

And you are right about what Syria under Hafez al-Assad did to Palestinians in the 1980s, they backed Amal in the massacres while claiming to support Palestine for political reasons. Hazzy997 has made his position on this issue clear, he agrees with you on Assad and Syrian government, while he is sympathetic to Hezbollah for fighting Israel.

This is just an opinion and prediction.
I think now that a comprehensive settlement to Iran's nuclear program is going to be negotiated in July this year, we will see another war between israel and Hezbollah (much more intense than 2006), potentially also involving Hamas. Perhaps even Syria, but maybe thats a little far fetched.
I think israel will do it to poison the political atmosphere in the US by blaming Iran's support of "terrorism" and make nuclear deal politically impossible for Obama administration.
I also believe the israelis will want to start something because they have to get back their deterrence capability, which eroded in 2006 conflict.

I think a major war is looming around the corner in June/July.

A very possible scenario. I have one question. Is there any way I as an Indian can volunteer for the Israeli Defence Forces? At least in some non combat role? Thanks.

I didn't ignore his post I was offline however I'm not in mood for his sectarian statements. You answered his question for me, I appreciate it. I am critical of some Shia as well such as Iraqi Shia and my posts have demonstrated this but I'm not sure what he still thinks of me.

Hezbollah was founded in mid 80-es not in 1982. Fighting between Amal and Hezbollah happened from 1987 to 1989 after the war on camps.

Hezbollah may have been officially founded in 1985, but it was originally formed in 1982 and Nasrallah was part of Hezbollah at its forming and founding. Nasrallah did not participate in killing Palestinians in that war.

BBC NEWS | Middle East | Who are Hezbollah?

Hezbollah was conceived in 1982 by a group of clerics after the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. It was formed primarily to offer resistance to the Israeli occupation.

Israel was arrogant and very sure of itself in 2006 War. The 2006 War was a sobering reminder to Israel to fully plan and execute for War. And this showed in 2009, when Israel took out Hamas in Gaza with very few casualties.

Another fight between Israel and Hezbollah, Israel will perform very well.

This is nonsense sir, in 2009 Hamas only had control of the strip fora year and a half and they were a militia with no military capabilities besides homemade rockets made out of metal scraps that had very short range and no explosive warheads. They were not organized as sub military force and had no actual support. Gaza is very different than Lebanon as well, Israel killed 800 civilians and 600 police officers, fighters, politicians, government employees , etc....

They had no decent weapons or training at that time. Look at 2012, Israel attempted to do the same thing but tried avoiding mass casualties, or at least we are told that. All resistance fighters death toll combined to no more than 50, less than 40 from Hamas and near a 100 civilians were killed. Israel couldn't prevent rocket fire and Hamas fired more rockets in eight days than it did in the whole last Israeli war against Gaza and they were decent rockets. The main point was they developed a new strategy which Israel couldn't defeat and got humiliated by.

Many things changed from 2009-2012....
