wow``this will make the plane over 20m long again like J-20```is that neccessary?

^^huzigeng said sac j1x is as big as su27. also J20 isn't so big.
so if huzigeng said come true... ^^ NO 5th gen fighter else will be so big except sac j1x

Does anyone have pictures of an actual airframe? All I've seen are wind-tunnel models. These are not particularly meaningful.

The thing about Chinese military is that a lot of the stuff is based on speculations/insider information due to strict control over military secrets. Take the J-20, for example. I don't think that windtunnel models were leaked due to "security reason". Huzigeng, the guy every one is quoting, probably has connections at the CAC so he was able to leak the configuration and size of the J-20 two years before the first flight. We take his claims seriously because of this.

I thought huzigeng said that the J1x was gonna be a bit bigger than the flanker?

Interesting... if the J-19 is in fact larger than the J-20, then that means it will be the strike fighter while the J-20 will be the air superiority fighter.

Not exactly the best choice when it comes to maneuverability and stealth, but it will feature a huge weapons bay.
