Bonn Conference: US Air Strikes on Pakistan Destabilize the Region

Pakistan has decided to boycott the coming Bonn Conference as a protest of US-led NATO Jet-helicopters which killed 24 troops on the border outposts, and have given a further blow to the Pak-US relations which were strained since May 2 when US commandos killed Bin Laden in violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.

Assuming this occurs, what can Pakistan expect to happen regarding it's us relations?

Will Pakistan be dumped?will it become a new axis of evil?

In other words, what preparations should be made in anticipation of this?

It will be an intense thing to watch a NATO aircraft go down due to a Pakistani missile.Not doubting the Pakistani capabilities here,of course they can do it any goddamn day.But still,it will be a really big event,considering the political turmoil it will create..

I think i misjudged the situation,the very thing that anti pakistan forces want is for there to be a confrontation between "the west" and pakistan in which pakistan will come out a lot worse ,better for pakistan to make NATO bleed and accept defeat in afghanistan in the long run then try to gain short term revenge.

we will just try to build roads hospitals and schools, rest of the countries can arm the militia.. run training camps.. and provide AK's and ammo..

We supported, trained and equipped Northern Alliance. We are training Afghan National Army officers in India and troops there. We are providing logistical ad other equipment too.

In addition we are developing infrastructure of the country and providing medical faciliies and aid in a big way. Yes we are engaging in an all round development of Afghan potential as a gesture of goodwill and ensuring that Afghanistan attains stability asap, for its in our interests.

In addition, we are planning to stage troops and assets in Tajikistan and other CARs as also possibly Afghanistan although that is not sure yet .....

the problem is that the pashtun population wants domination and are not willing to live in peace with the panjsehris and tajiks etc.
one solution may be to split afghanistan to passhtun and non pashtun areas.

i am very aware of the situation, but your political leadership seems to misguiding the people of its real aspirations. On one hand the politicos churn anti-us feeling among the people on WoT for securing vote bank, on other hand it gives NATO a free pass...

Until your country is willing to separate itself from WoT, its better to give full co-operation to NATO and including joint operations and autonomous Hot pursuits...

Permanently close the NATO supplies, close ALL links in and out of Afghanistan and one minor mistake made by the Afghan military on the border should be answered with an attack twice the size.
