Exactly.

Even it can be related to why PAF ordered only 50 Block-III. I say that, by the time Block III is operational, a goal will be set to achieve given the rapid change and advancement of technology and so the level of threat requiring new counter into arena. I really hope that as the baseline is set, people will understand that caping an order for specific number doesn't mean of unsatisfactory performance but new emerging tech and threat. These 50 will be spearhead being latest in tech and weaponry along with Radar EW/ECW etc unless there will be a new challenge and being a home grown product and baseline, PAF can play around.

150 numbers provided us enough defence. Not just provided us experience and opportunity to enter fighter jet market and build our own but also, replacing the ageing fleet of 3rd gen fighter jets. Infact, updated and advance PAF due to JF-17 Thunder. The futuristic approach pretty suggest TFX kind of project that fits the PAF most.
If Jeff is almost dead then what would paf buy now? Given all the things mentioned by you and @SQ8 ? Or we'll try to design something of our own?

. . . . . . .
The word is PAF boys actually had a blast at the exercise.

A single idiom may not satiate the longing and expectations from such a long and comprehensive excercise.
Brevity is the soul of wit, and You've outwitted everyone here who was avidly waiting for a series of savvy stories.

. .
Beating an over-hyped system in an exercise is not a great achievement, the real achievement is PAF pilots learning how to do it repeatedly in more than one ways. The learning is mutual one learns how to do it, and the other learns how not to do it.

All we need now is the HUD view of Rafale in thhe gunsights of the JF17 and we will have the complete set!
That is very unlikely and may not have happened either. The Rafale is a beast and may have run circles around the JF - there may be kills recorded in BVR by the JF but it really is down to specific scenarios. Unless there were some really novice Qatari pilots flying the Rafale - 1v1 against a Rafale flown by a competent pilot the JF-17 has a very low chance of success.
