Anaconda are a type of snake that don't lay eggs and today the twitter feed and local news sites from Pulwama went crazy about locating Anaconda eggs scattered in different fields through out in South Kashmir.
Now talking about Anaconda don't lay eggs is a wrong theory because Anaconda lay eggs but the difference is like many other snakes which nest on eggs Anaconda don't nest the eggs but they internally incubate them. So the question remains why are there Anaconda eggs is different areas of South Kashmir.
Well one theory is that the eggs were removed from pregnant Anacondas and then planted there to hatch in wild and habitat the hills of south Kashmir also some reports suggest that Anaconda snakes have also been released in the area. Question comes who would do this on such a massive scale. As we all know the dynamic in Kashmir the area is on lock down by India Army and smuggling any thing into the state is nearly impossible. So one can only point figures at Indian state for such acts and the animal released here belongs to south America and it is difficult to get.
Motivation and thinking behind this act.
There is only one cause that can come to mind. As the UN report says India is violating Human rights in Jammu and Kashmir and this is just a creative ways of genocide of Indians forces. Anaconda have known to attack kids with no prey in the region the only food Anacondas will find is kids thus making it hard for kids in the valley to even move around their houses. The thick forest provides very perfect environment and it will be difficult to hunt or track these snakes and if population of these snakes spread young children will be at risk in a state where they have no services and protection. India is trying Nazi style experiments to create fear in the local population. The main question remains that if this Nazi style experiment will succeed because it is unknown that if these Anacondas can face the harsh winters of the valley.
Locals as well as Wild Life officials ‘baffled’
