Screening body temperature at land borders, airportsReally ? .......Screening for what on 7th Jan.
There were no way to know if there were cases before 12 January because the virus was not identified yet. There were no test available. The only thing they were looking was pneumonia for suspected cases. You read too much propaganda. So there were no additional cases detected in China between 3rd and 14th January. That is very hard to believe.
As #2 said, until January 14, the medical experts team for the first time found one new case that had never been to the wet market. Which means till January 14, Chinese government still believed all found cases were infected by animal in the wet market.Check #10 please.
Twitter is not a real source of information, Western Media is deliberately misleading the public and nobody read the raw data. The actual report from WHO on Jan 14 says:
As the traveler did not report having visited the market linked to most of the other cases, it is vital that investigations continue to identify the source of infection. To date, China has not reported any cases of infection among healthcare workers or contacts of the cases. Based on the available information there is no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission. No additional cases have been detected since 3 January 2020 in China.
Additional investigation is needed to ascertain the presence of human-to-human transmission, modes of transmission, common source of exposure and the presence of asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic cases that are undetected. It is critical to review all available information to fully understand the potential transmissibility among humans.

Covid-19 was identify on 7th Jan.tthats probably more likely more than that as a veitnamese member has stated that veitnam already started screening on 7th jan, i vividly remember when WHO first made pandemic announcement, the viewers were grilling WHO for slow response and thiis tweet.

Are you saying that China is the biggest contributor of WHO after USA now, or you are hoping it will be?US has withdraw funds from WHO and that left China as its biggest contributor.
Obviously there were no cases that fit the criteria for the virus between 3rd and 14th Jan. As only 5% of the patients needs to be hospitalize, with long incubation time and asymptomatic, it is hard for China to identify the virus without widespread PCR testing."No additional cases have been detected since 3 January 2020 in China."
He did not say no cases had been identified till 12th. He said no cases has been detected from 3rd January to 14th January. Which means that there were cases detected before 3rd January.

The information on this disease is publicly available and the discussion is wide spread. News medias are for peasants.Clearly you know something that the WHO does not.
This is because in the past, critics blame WHO for creating panic for H1N1 that wasn't deadly. This time not only WHO became cautious, most western nation too didn't take seriously. To be fair if China knew human to human infection was possible and withheld that information or delayed it, then they did a really immoral thing.
This does not mean other countries should just have closed their eyes, countries have spies and reporters from every city, they should have known. They all had ample time to act but with economy the priority of everyone, no one acted. Now they are blaming each other. Instead all should work together. Also WHO really do seems useless.
