An eye opener for Indian Muslims

As long as they are associated with the idea of India as A Nation State, we could not help them as it will equivalent to strengthen the State of India.
@SIPRA i have heard and seen multiple examples where indian muslim students who came from india, never were invited to the indian association events, never were invited for hanging out and food but rather were looked down on and those guys always tried coming to Pakistan student association and wanted to hang out with Pakistanis, but their narrative never changed, their indianess was still there.

Although i found south Indians from kerala etc, regardless of their religion, more outspoken towards their hate for India due to their atrocities against them, they always supported their language, culture and south as a region and and were always against India as a one country and wanted their state to be an independent country.

Systemic apathy have weakened them economically.
I have a question. Why doesn't Indian Muslims migrate to regions with higher Muslim concentration like Assam, West Bengal etc? Seems to me that would be helpful in defending themselves against Hindutva terrorism.
Middle or Upper class Muslims may find it hard to abandon their homes & businesses to migrate. However, what about the poor & lower class Muslim population, which is higher in numbers?

Your observations appear to be correct; but there are deeper reasons, behind such psyche, which we Pakistani fail to understand.

And what's that; do you mean for south in historical context? or for Indian muslims? For south IMO since there was never any direct conflict with Pakistan and there is no division of land that happened there, they are much more friendly towards Pakistan and their pov regarding India is shaped by the systemic undermining of their culture, language and people by the hindi belt.

Muslims in India are generally poorer than their Hindu, Sikh and Christian counterparts. Not by a large margin though.

The exception is Kerala, where the Muslims population is richer than the Hindu and Christian population.

The migration you propose is infeasible for two reasons. 1) cultural and ethnic differences 2) Muslims are often farmers or poor merchants, meaning they are locked to their physical assets for survival.

Man they shud be strong here

They should. In a cluster consisting of 8 districts in Northwestern Uttar Pradesh (North of Delhi), they form the majority or near majority.

However, they are disorganised and systematically excluded.

Migration is not easy and is done for two primary reasons. Economic and security.

Most migration in India, Muslims included, is to large urban areas because that is where the jobs are. Most Muslim dominated areas in India aren't exactly hubs of economic activity.

As far as the security situation goes, it is not always as bad as it is in Myanmar or Syria, where people en-masse have to move. But that has happened, and keeps happening. After every pogrom, Muslims that live in Hindu dominated areas do move to Muslim dominated areas in that same city or state.

My comment was for both, though in different contexts. Your post about South Indians is true, in my opinion.

Easy to say when you are not one of them. They are awake, just cannot do anything about it except deal with it with patience. When the whole state machinery is against you at every level, it is not easy.

Shouldn't you be saying "We" instead of "They" ? :o:

What is so offensive about what I said @HRK ? The fact is if those Indian Muslims were teleported to Karachi they would be acting tough guys. And economic wizards. And most educated. And most civilized. So could you please explain why you have given me a negative rating?

Is that not a fact @Areesh?

Ps In fact I think ISI should send some tough guys to India to cause grief in Mumbai, New Delhi etc

@HRK please give negative rating for this post too

Arrey I am loving it!
Araaaay my point is simple. When teleported to Karachi they are the toughest, bravest, smarted, most educated, most wealthiest etc.

But back in India they are as mute, sheep to the slaughter, most economically backward demographic. Yet they complain they been shafted and act as the most abused, disadvantaged, repressed community. I mightr get banned but these are facts that most here want to shove under the carpet. Where is the cnut firebrand bhai? And don't they have Altafs in India to fire them? Where is MQM-India gone?

I know some of you will say that stand up and fight. That is a legitimate ask, but often the impression is that the fight is with violence only. There are other ways of fighting, and we are doing our best under the circumstances. Muslims are in the forefront of charitable acts, educating non-Muslims on them and using legal remedies where possible. Results are in the hands of Allah, and insha'Allah, one day we will prevail.

There is really no end in sight for the sufferings of Muslims in India. The are stuck in a country where the majority hate them for no fault of their own. Things will only get worse. Some people can emigrate and leave, but that is not the option for the majority of them. Today I live a comfortable life in the West, but I have no joy at my position. I feel I have abandoned my people.

Excuses excuses excuses.

Rich Muslims like you have sold out Iman for Money.

We need more people like these on the ground and not people like you who sit and make excuses from A/c rooms.
