Amritsar replicating Lahore’s food street model

.
Calling chicken non-veg food is injustice with non-veg cousine.

It would never be on scale of Lahore Food Street, as only Chicken & Mutton would be served. The reasons are obviously.

We are prohibited to avoid halal meat & can eat everything and anything. If food is mouthwatering, I don't mind eating halal meat; be it beaf, Pork, etc.:p:

Have you ever tried non veg foods in Lahore? Surely not

. .
Lahore and Amritsar are sister cities and both in Punjab.

Can't say about food but I think Badal might be looking for the cultural setup.
I agree. Has to be the cultural setup executed well in Lahore. Hopefully Amritsar is able to get the essence of it well. I have heard good things about the Lahore food street.
Personally I would be disappointed if they try to get all pan-Indian/global with it. My personal gripe with most food streets across different cities in India is that they try to sell everything from chowmin to pizza to dosa instead of sticking with the specialties of their different State.

I would like if they make it about Punjabi food instead of trying to sell dosa as well. Because of this, most food streets across India sell the same things.
Amritsar is also replicating BRT and Waste Management System from Lahore
I read about Amritsar trying to replicate the Waste Management System from Lahore.

You are incorrect about the BRT though. The Amritsar BRT is an attempt to replicate the Ahmedabad BRT.

The gold standard for BRT in cost/efficiency ratio in India is Ahmedabad(Gujarat). All cities which wanted BRT have tried to replicate it - and most(though not all) have failed to do it - including Delhi.

When I say failed, I don't mean in terms of simply mass volume of carrying people from point A to point B because almost all systems have been able to get high ridership. I mean in terms of how much it cost the state govt to set up, how much it costs to run, the ridership per capita and cost incurred per capita without subsidy.
