Amir Khan versus Canelo Alvarez fight

Do you have comprehension problem dude?

You will die crying. Keep crying Tejas losers

Lot's of Appreciation for my Brother Aamir Khan. (For Others, Specially indians) If he has been knock out, then first check how dozens of boxers have benn knock out by him. Long live Aaamr, Long live PAKISTAN :tup::pakistan::pakistan::tup::tup:

.
I did mentioned it. Even commentator were praising khan in earlier rounds as he was technically more sound than canelo and were leading by scorecards until that strong punch knocked him out but i guess his fitness/stamina issue exposed in 6th round which cost him..

it wasn't just lack of fitness with the added bulk, but Canelo's bodyshots did huge damage in the early rounds that caused Khan to lose stamina in the 5th and 6th round. You can even see after the 4th round Khan started protecting his body more and had a few weird moments of having his hands down. It's a big difference between bodyshots from a 147lbers and a heavy hitting 175lber. All these commentators praising Khan for his early rounds of hitting and moving ignored the importance of Canelo's bodyshots.

I question the decision that if you are moving up the weight division why would you not fight 2-3 fights with Medium level opponents why go after the Title holder immediately ?

Khan has a big ego, he really believes his own hype, he really believes that Pacquiao and Mayweather ducked him lol.

.
Several things here.

I'm sorry but his father who manages him and his trainer i.e. Virgil Hunter should have stopped this fight from happening. I know it was probably Amir due to his headstrong ways, but this was the mother of all bad match-ups. It just wasn't possible for Amir to fight a guy who would outweigh by over a stone, and who is one of the hardest punchers in the game. You can't simply move up the lbs ladder and hope to be the same, it does't happen. I've been there (not boxing), moved up and it took time for my power to build again from what is was.

As for the fight. Yes he did move around and stick him, which did confuse Canelo but he knew deep down he would wilt in the later rounds . No one yet has mentioned how tired Amir looked in the fifth round. He was sucking air folks. When the sixth started, his legs were slow, the movement was gone and he was dropping his hands, which is the greatest cardinal error a trainer tells you never to indulge in, and that's when you first walk into the gym, not when you have been a pro for a decade. Amir did take some solid shots from Canelo, and his chin is ok, just not great. But again his body couldn't take the wear and tear and he succumbed as many had feared.

What now for him? I'm sorry to say this but he should seriously think of a few lesser fights and just finish up. The blow he took had a great deal of force behind it and he was out cold for a couple of minutes. Severe concussions like that finish off what punch resistance a boxer has. There are so many examples of this, one being Roy Jones. I don't want to see him slurring his words, just look at Riddick Bowe, James Toney, Tommy Hearns etc, the latter two I have met in person and I was shocked to see their deterioration. That is no way for once proud and powerful men to live.

As for Canelo, I don't blame him for not having fought the Golovkin. He simply has no answer to the fight that triple G will bring to him. Canelo relies in power and forward movement, something which will have him meet the steel willed and fisted Golovkin head-on, which will result in him following what happened to Khan. He can't outbox him, as Golovkin came from an excellent amateur pedigree, a silver medalist olympian, world champion, who shows true ring craft. What has astounded me is the level of punishment he can take. I've seen shots hit him, when is was unaware and he just walked through them. The man is a beast personified. But hey, it will still be good to see the two meet.

Khan was actually worn down by canelo's body shots. He was doing fine, but once he got that cut on the eye which started bleeding he panicked and lost control. Canelo is a tough opponent even though he puts on water weight after the weigh in like a pussy.

I still see boxing as a sport that is 80 percent mental. Ask Floyd or even Muhammad Ali. Khan decided to fight with his heart instead of his head which is a common thing among Pakistanis.

Got knocked out cold. Every sane person knew that he cannot even bear half the power of canello but still he went up two divisions and fought this man called pit bull by many? What was he and his coach thinking? My guess was fifth round knockout if canello shows sympathy but he survived till 6th round infront of that great champ. Not a single person i know of even thought for a second about khan's victory. Amir was way too desperate to fight a big fight. Anyhow, better luck next time, in lower weight categories of course.

For becoming Mike Tyson you need power, lots of it. Amir has speed but can't take a punch, and he cannot do anything about it, no training can improve that bcz its genetic.
Both of them look the same in physical terms.

Yaa, I expected this from a loser whose nation has got zero sports output in past decade. You have to resort to seek glory in the feats of a British by saying that he is of Pakistani descent. If I say anything more then you will come up with, 'look at china, my chicha'.

You guys have no self esteem. Always seek glory in the deeds of others, whether it is Arab muslims, Turks or Chinese !

You are so paranoid and touchy that you got indignant even when I didn't say anything worth it. All I said was you win some and you lose some and you lost your cool. Kamaal hai..!

No. But, it seems like your problems. Go get your medications on time to avoid this

zero sports output
Says a guy from a country with nearly 1,300 million and another 10 million ex pats or is it NRI's? You have not produced half the boxer Amir Khan is. With that many numbers how did you even accidentally fail to produce one Amir?

And he is British Pakistani like me. If he had planted a bomb in London all you Gangalander's would have been screaming about "Pak* Muslim" but when it suit's you then you say "British". What do expect from cesspit of 1.3 billion?

Nothing.

Our NRI's are the most respected bunch in the whole world for their work ethics and brilliance in their field of work. We land up all top jobs in corporate sector as well as technology, scientific, IT fields. What are your expats expert at? Making dhabhas in UK?

As for boxing and othwr sports, we have quite a few of them in our country. We dont need to look at our NRI's for medals. They are best in doing their work....i.e. gaining knowledge, reaching pinnacle of their fields and enriching their respective countries by their sheer hard work.

If you dont believe me the you can check out 100s of youtube videos of accomplishment of non resident Indians and compare it with Pakistani community.

For your info I am a fan of Aamir Khan but you Pakistani are just.....

Yes but there is a difference. Canello is a natural built stocky guy and amir had to gain weight and build muscle to get that kind of appearance, and a compact stocky guy is always stronger than a muscular guy in the same weight category.

India was a dormant power in the field of sports. It was only in past decade or two that Indians have started taking sports seriously. Results are there for all to see. On one hand we are gaining strength in team as well as individual sports, your team in all arenas is going down and out.

In hockey, if you have won 4 world cups then we have won 8 Olympic Golds whereas you won 3.

From 2000 to till date, you are leading us by 24-35. That is not called "owning".

In cricket, if 80-90s belonged to you then 2000 onwards, its us who are dominating and the overall lead is getting narrower by the day. Whatever lead you gained was in the Miandad era in Sharjah, that too when umpires in those matches were terribly biased against Indians. Since the advent of hawk eye, stump camera etc, your umpires were not able to give wrong decisions hence you started losing matches against India. Your team is not even in top 8 whereas we are one of the BIG 3.

Moreover, our team is a big event team and won many awards and trophies in your comparison.

India Pakistan head to head:-
ICC world Cup Ind-6, Pak-0
ICC World 20-20: Ind-3, Pak-0
ICC Champions trophy: Ind-1, Pak-2
World Championship of Cricket: Ind-2, Pak-0

Overall we have won 6 world Championships and you have won just 2...!

In squash, from a non existing entity, we has started coming 2nd or 3rd in events. Infact our women's team is ahead of yours in this sports. Days of Jahangir Khan, Jansher Khan is long gone.

What about Kabaddi, Boxing, Weightlifting, Judo, Atheletics, Chess, Snooker, Golf, Tennis, Badminton? Can you please compare them too? Tell us where you stand vis-a-vis India..

In cricket you guys won 3 world cups Pakistan has 2 . Only Miandad era? You guys couldn't face Wasim ,waqar, shoiab and got so paranoid you stopped playing matches all together . Head to head where do you guys stand? You guys are 21 matches behind in cricket and even more matches behind in Hockey .

We own all of squash basically . Jehangir , jahansher , Qamar Zaman , roshan khan , hashim Khan . We have dominated world hockey 4 worlds and squash for decades . How many sports has India dominated the way PK has dominated hockey and squash? None .

Pakistan and India both have 2 IBSF championsionships . Kabadii well you guys just lost to Pakistan day before yesterday in Asia cup . If you have head to head in other sports please do post .

We are Even better in baseball a sport we don't take seriously :D

http://www.wbsc.org/rankings/

Pakistan is ranked 21 India 59

Who told you India won just 3 world cups? Here is the list:
ICC Cricket World Cup: Champions 1983, 2011
ICC World Twenty20: Champions 2007
ICC Champions Trophy: Champions 2002, 2013
Under 19 Cricket World Cup: Champions 2000, 2008 & 2012
Women's Cricket World Cup: Runner up 2005

So overall India won 6 World cups. Pakistan 4.

Wasim, Waqar were champion bowlers and had dominated India until the advent of Tendulkar. After that nobody could dominate India like earlier. Those days onwards India got served by the famous troika of Sachin, Saurav, Dravid along with Laxman. Henceforth, it was only a dream for Pakistan to dominate India. Cut to 2016, Kohli era, you are still dreaming. Mauka-Mauka...

In hockey, you have better record overall but that dosent mean we were rank outsiders. 2000 onwards, margin is reducing.

If you were good in Squash then were were good in half a dozen other sports. You are not even counted there.. For the list of those sports you can refer my previous post.

Champions trophy is not world cup. The only world cups are the t20 and 50 over ones .

Tendulkar came in 1989 . Pakistan dominated india till 2003 world cup . 80s and 90s was a nightmare time to be an indian fan . In today's time no one is dominating . And i did count baseball , kabaddi and snooker to you .
