Chinese people are more humorous than I thought.

Communism, while having many shotfall, is much better than the current "democracy" regimes worldwide. From France to India to the US to Latin America to Africa, all very mature and established democracies, the following are its typical images

1. Slums (all, from the US to Korea to India to Latin America to parts of Europe). Can you find slums in any communist or former communist countries, in the scales of slums in democracy regimes with similar population?
2. People killing people on the streets,
3. police killing innocent people in their homes,
4. Religious radicals, from Christianity supremacy to Hindu supremacy.
5. Civil unrest and police with batons attacking protesters. Obviously, there are civil unrest in China and Vietnam as well, but much smaller scale and frequency.
6. half-starved, half-clad people and beggars on the streets. Can you find these in any communist or former communist countries with similar population
7. Homeless people everywhere on the streets. Tent cities are increasingly common
8. Food banks. You can see it in the US or UK, but not in even poorest communist countries like Laos.
9. Relatively poor quality of education, relative to GDP per capita and living standard.
10. Cheating politicians.
...

The list is endless, I'm not bother to mention anymore.

Forgot to mention another "specialty" of democracy regimes, which is organized crimes. This "specialty" can only exist and flourish in democracy regimes, even the most civilized ones like Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Germany and Switzerland, but can never exist in any communist countries.

The only problem Vietnam have with China is the islands.
We can compromise a lot of things, but not the islands.

At least the Code of Conduct must be finalized and be equal and fair for all parties involved, that's the only way for lasting peace between China and the maritime nations in SEA.

Not reported does mean not exist. Organized crimes exist in every society. communism is no exception. just hide everything under the carpet is ok? Communism in pure form today only exists in name not even in Cuba. China is imperialist and capitalist as always the case in history.

Ah come, Swiss is my most favorite country in Europe I would move there tomorrow.

Status quo is the best, if China were down, the west won't allow communist Vietnam to live long.

It's a political statement, a kind of slogan, every country does.

Wang Yi is a politician, he has to say things he neither wants nor believes.

Relations between nations, only interests, no friendship or ideology.

I do not say organized crime do not exist in China and Vietnam in absolute term. China and Vietnam are now half capitalist, half communist, therefore, the capitalist part allows some organized crime to exist, but the communist nature prevents this to enlarge and flourish.

Some organized groups with less than 50 people can exist for a limited time (a couple of years maximum), but no where near Yakuza, Triad or Mafia with tens of thousands members for decades, if not centuries.

The question is not if but when. Chinese threatened Vietnam with war during oil rig confrontation in 2014, and again in 2017 during Vietnam attempt of oil drilling in Eez.

it’s best to have weapons be readied just in case. Vietnam went to war against China multiple times probably 10 times in history I don’t remember. The 11th war doesn’t matter any.

As the saying, if you want peace prepare for war.

The disputed islands and resources mean nothing to the people, as the benefits from it fall into the pockets of a minority that includes politicians, elites, and other powerful people.... only stupid citizens brainwashed by propaganda are willing to die for the regime.

War is unnecessary today.

Lets global warming, collapsing birth rate and food shortage decimate the population.

The remaining survivors keep the islands.
