People forget Russia might be tilted towards china for the moment(economical),but if someone thinks its Russia and china against the west they are fooling themselfs ,once putin is gone Russia will spring back to west with double the speed.

China has no friends other than Pakistan and NK.
It only has business partners.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africa–China_relations

Africa–China relations refers to the historical, political, economic, military, social and cultural connections between China and the African continent.

Little is known about ancient relations between China and the African continent, though there is some evidence of early trade connections. Highlights of medieval contacts were the 14th century journey of Ibn Battuta, the Moroccan scholar and traveler, to parts of China;[1] the visit of Sa'id of Mogadishu, the Somali scholar and explorer to China;[2] and the Ming Dynasty voyages of Chinese admiral Zheng He and his fleet, which rounded the coast of Somalia and followed the coast down to the Mozambique Channel.[3] [4]

Modern political and economic relations commenced in the era of Mao Zedong, the first leader of the Chinese Communist Party, following the Chinese Civil War. Starting in the 21st century, the modern state of the People's Republic of China has built increasingly strong economic ties with Africa. There are an estimated one million Chinese citizens residing in Africa.[5] By comparison, it has been estimated that 200,000 Africans are working in China.[6]:99

Trade between China and Africa increased by 700% during the 1990s,[7] and China is currently Africa's largest trading partner.[8] The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) was established in October 2000 as an official forum to strengthen the relationship. A few Western countries, such as the United Kingdom and the United States, have raised concerns over the political, economic and military roles China is playing in the African continent.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes China's developmental engagements with Africa, while also stating that China and Africa are making "joint efforts to maintain the lawful rights of developing countries and push forward the creation of a new, fair and just political and economic order in the world".[9]

Does India have friends?

You should travel to China to see for yourself, and I do not like saying this but, we're not going to get there in 9 years.

The US and Russia can talk about a qualitative advantage in their military hardware, India ? not so much.

Russian GPD is half and their population is what, 1/10th of India's ?

You only need to travel a bit and see for yourself.

I have travelled to china  ....... I did it last year with my wife and kid.

I do not want to get where china is in the next 9 years, I want to be in a better place with more freedom and a more open society.

You can continue to whine and bitch, I have no time to waste for losers.

You can compare the two further back in the 60s when India's GDP was bigger than China's. Now China's economy is 5 times of India's and is still expanding fast, you will only be left behind further cause you can never have we Chinese efficiency and work ethnics.
9 years ago Beijing hosted the most splendid Olympic games, When India gets those first class facilities to have one? If the gap is only 9 years then India needs to build the longest highway, railway, subway,HSR systems in the world, the best and biggest airports ,sea ports, bridges, tunnels, skyscrapers, super computers ...in the world, Send people to the space and build space stations., become the world's main producer and consumer of almost all major materials, dominate the world market in almost everything. 9 year can go really fast, it seems that you have a lot of work to do in the next 9 years and you better hurry up.

Let's see in 9 years will you stop paying dearly to buy foreign weapons and learn to build them yourselves.

I can see that you have difficulty handling reality.

You can host all the circus show you want in anticipation for fame, but there is no fame coming your way. Only the infamy of a bully.

The reality is that the gap between India and CHina is only 9 years, and with every passing year, it is going to be less and less. You can continue to boast and brag while we continue to work towards our future.

lol at your pathetic attempts to impress me. You can continue to wait and watch, we really don't give a $hit.

That's great . Live in your dreams and fantasy and that's exactly what we really want from Indians. Tell you a secret, the gap is only 3 years ,not 9 years, the latter is purely propaganda made by some super pessimistic Indian web users, don't believe them.

India also only has 9 years time to churn out world class cities like Beijing ,Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and so many other emerging modern Chinese cities. What a job.
what you are saying is right. Its nearly impossible to fill the gap in 9 years. but you are forgetting in 9 years we will be around 5 to 7 trillion economy means third in world. that will be decent achievement.
