I think it's a wrong move to position Hainan as some tropical paradise when it's right next to Southeast Asia.

Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world with their crystal clear water and white sands.

So what is the competitive advantage? Is it cheaper? Are the staff friendlier? Does it have better street food? Are the massages more relaxing? And for some, are the red-light districts as exciting?

These are the factors tourists consider when they want to visit a tropical paradise.

Well originality, exotic view, or even wild adrenalin adventure is much more considered....

Hawaii would wipe the floor with this place. There's no comparision

This is what I am talking about...….If you need to position or promote Hainan, use your own ingenious way and find something unique and work it out from there. Not just copy and paste and "insert comparison" here.

In real life, I have been to both Pakistan and Afghanistan, scenic wise they are pretty much the same landscape (I was in Western Pakistan and Eastern A-Stan, so basically just stare down the same mountain) but culture and people wise, very different. And this is what I want to see when I was overseas.

So? If I want cheap thing, I can go someplace else. Also, the way to get there alone is not cheap at all, why would I go all the way across the pacific and fork out hundred of dollars of airfare and just to buy cheap thing? I can do it in Mexico or Canada if you are talking about drug.

And have you been to Hawaii? They aren't really that expensive, probably the same between a Chinese Tourist in Hawaii and an American Tourist in Hainan.
Western Pakistan? Like where? Which city.

Technically speaking both southern Afghanistan and NW Pakistan has the same ethnic composition.. the Pakhtun.. although NW Pak is a bit more modern, specially cities like Peshawar.

Can I visit and spy on the Chinese subs? :D
maybe if u look like chinese, and if u do- write and talk like 1 as well. In other wors, u ahve to pass the physical appearance and language barrier first in order not to arouse suspicions

There's a reason why China is the hardest country to spy on

Yep, beautiful countries. I've been to all of them and constantly holiday in Asia for those reasons.
Anyway this place looks great but I think getting around would be tough if you only speak English.

Actually, I should not have said that, as I was doing some hush mission over there and those meeting with tribal leader basically did not happen officially...Officially, I have only been to Islamabad

anyway. This is what I heard as well, I remember a guide once told me, during the war with soviet union, afghan mujahedeen would go across the mountain and enter the tribal area in search for food and medicine also medical attention. And then they will visit their extended family member and go back and fight the Russian the next day.

But yeah, both being Pashtun and they have a lot similarity but somehow they were different, and I cannot tell you why, maybe the prospect of war between the two area have set the different. Either way, Afghanistan as a whole was made up with a lot of different tribe, Mostly Pashtun, Kabul is full of Tajik (did I spell that right?) these two which made up most of the Afghan population and then there are quite a few other minority as well.

And then Pakistan is also made up of a lot of different culture but I think only Pashtun and Hazara was shared with Afghanistan

Tajiks(a small minority in Pak) ,Hazara,Pakhtun,Baloch are shared ethnic groups... along with the Pamiris of Wakhan (who are kin of Pak in this side of the border).

Missions? My father was also posted in that region btwn.

Flag meetings were common thing back than... where both mil would either invite the other on their side..

P.S; I’ve been to Afghanistan... atleast year bordering Afghan areas...

lol, things are quite different with the US army, we are not allowed to cross the border into Pakistan, even tho it is a friendly nation to us, I think this is more of a political decision rather than military. If we saw Taliban fighter escape into Pakistan, we are to contact your paramilitary group and hand things to them. So officially those meeting I have been attending was not allowed to exist in official record. We are not allow to talk about them.

Sames the case here.

We did in Ops ZAZB..

Have you been to Hawaii?
I doubt. He's just talking from his rear.
Even if he says he has, you can take it with a pinch of salt coz it would be pure BS.
