Oh, and how does one earn a "Military pro" tag? I've noticed some ex-military members wear those - Gambit with the USAF and defense industry, yourself (I'm not familiar with the branch), Sven in the Navy, but I too am ex-military (RNoAF) and am an active member of the Norwegian defense industry. Any thoughts on how to go about getting a fancy tag?

Its a small matter though that I haven't written anything that could merit a positive rating in some months now !

Plus @jhungary is always so serious that sometimes I think hes not talking to his Pakistani brother - me - but instead a corporal under him !

Heck most of the time I think the underlying theme in @jhungary 's posts are 'Get down and gimme a 100' !

It started with someone on some thread ask me who give me all these positive rating a few hours ago. Then I decided to do a head count on my positive rating. And I found out something that's very intriguing.

OF THE 192 POSITIVE RATING I GOT. NONE WERE LEFT BY AMERICAN....

Well, I do have some American member leaving me one or two positive rating, but never American' American. I mean, com'on, I have been pro-US all along and this Is how my compatriot treats me?? I even got Chinese member leaving me positive rating....

I think the question on who gave more positive rating depends on how people use rating system.

American (Including me) have a stricter system regarding rating, we don't thanks or positive rate other post lightly. Part of it as Gambit pointed out, some people just got thanks regardless. I saw a post which intent to insult a whole group of people and the poster racked up 9 thanks in just 10 minutes. Where only one people actually do something about it by -ve that post (@Gufi know what I am talking about)

This is a fact so clear that even American don't thanks or rate other American.

Another factor is, you actually asked me a few months back, why I don't generally thanks or rate people, I have a system I only thanks post that give me new knowledge, and I only positive rate other post when people put effort in the post to bring out the knowledge. Couple to the fact that I don't get tag often, I don't generally rate people post that often as a result.

1-Really?Are you sure?but I have never seen you postively posting mine or nihonjin or any senior title holder's post,albeit we all have introduced several writeups explaining/purposing COIN polcies to tackle talibs or histprical,technical aspects.


2-Few things,I would definately appreciately about Americans.To other people,I woud like to say to keep in mind that I am not some ''American/EU fantasized idiot'' or in other words ''chamar''.This my sincere analysis about these people,that they are really sincere with themselves in many cases,as compare to rest of us.That is why they have got constructive thinking and you are seeing them today in putting up every effort to make things accessable.That is why,I always say to you people to stop blaming Jew,Israel,USA for your miseray.The fact is,you people are not sincere with yourselves.

3-I appreciate your stance in case of liking or rating system.However,let me make this really clear to you that we have different defination of liking and that is why we allow them to like.It is good to find that Americans like to discuss every detail and they demand guidelines for everything so to get systametic approach(not all US,but many educated ones among them)

Why rest posters beside Americans freely hit rating button?

b)To express friendliness
c)To show agreement
d)As expression of enjoyment
e)As expression of unity.
