What's new

Am i the only one who never watched a Star Wars ?

what is it? a movie or Soap?

Star Wars is like Ramayana/Mahabharata in Space :D. A collection of movies.... with various shows and books and other such things based on the movies.

Thanks Lord there are Indians here...... not a single day in PDF where an Indian doesn't make me laugh.

@Abingdonboy @PARIKRAMA @Nilgiri

Actually I did not like the iniial movies especially since the story original I thought was a bit slow.. I mean the spaceship and the initial 3 movie instrumentation panel looked more like seeing old discovery videos of Apollo or spaceship insides..

My interest about the franchise actually came via a anime series (I am a big fan of anime like @Manticore) known as
Star wars the clone wars.. Aired 2008 121 episodes
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008 TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are the concept from the beginning I could understand the turmoils and rot by palpatine and eventual turning of anakin from good side to bad was very well depicted

It's divided into many seasons but anime was good and storm troopers and Jedi council getting shorthanded by getting bumped off was essentially depicted smartly.. It's like ending is upto revenge of the sith types.. A great work thereLucas

Do watch it for Excellent animation. and great work by George Lucas.. You may find YouTube links to view.. Each episode is 22mins and 121 episodes.. And the Jedi training of new kids to selection of the crystal in crystal cave with which they make their weapon light sabers is also very well shown (when jedis die new recruits taken and training part)

All in all its a tragic turn of events with lots of conspiracy politics love n betrayals

Dude, I took 3 connecting international flights to just go see the movie and immediately travel back the very next day! :D

So, yes, you're the only one............. o_O

The last Star wars "the force awakens" according to some sources obliterated the box offices the day of its launch,i see a lot of enthusiastic persons, that could even kill someone just to get a ticket to see it and then i ask myself if i am the only one who never saw one ? :partay:

Why so much enthusiasm for a movie ? :pop:

I lived star war comics n cartoons when I was a kid... Till I realised that Han Solo is a bitch..

I still like R2D2 shit though lol.

.
Yes you are the only.

As I have not only watched all 6 star wars episode's as well read Darth Bane's trilogy novels as well the old republic era novels, one of the best if not the best sci-fi universe of all times.

There is just too much hype behind these movies. Maybe if you start selling action figures, comics or even create a clone war like mini series for a movie like Gone With the Wind maybe it can start rivalling star wars

.
Seen them all. Movies, anime series, played the games - from Battlefront to Dark Forces to Kotor I/II to Republic Commando and even the online The Old Republic - but I'm not too interested in the modern happenings of Star Wars.

My interest is in the early history, around the times of Kotor:

And Kotor II

Stuff that happens about 4000 years before the movies - or the Old Republic Era.

But I'm a Star Wars nerd:partay:

From my childhood days, I have all them original figures/models in pristine condition (not forgetting the ones in Lego), let me not forget those original VHS movies that I also treasure to this day!
