The japanese army wont be able to penetrate further inland past wuhan. It's essentially a statemale n down to a state of attrition, unless Japan procures more raw materials to overwhelm the KMT lines past hubei/hunan

How many years did China had true democracy since 1911 to 1949 under KMT rule? I think it only happened for a few short months before Yuan She Kai took over from Dr Sun. There was never any democracy after that. It was war lords and Chiang's dictatorship thereafter.

And the democracy in Taiwan only happened many years after the death of Chiang KS. And the outcome was and still is a big mess.

If you are in Taiwan, please don't buy a Green colour car or a Blue car if you are not into politics. Otherwise you may not be in peace with some of your neighbours, friends and associates.

I find it funny that most people in China don't believe that Taiwanese patently hate Jiang, and his son. Every time I tell that to even quite well off, and educated people, they are shocked to the level of disbelief.
