Altay & Turkish Main Battle Tank Programs

Mad,

-First of all, You implied Altay is actually a K-2, nothing more(less.
-Nothing seriously different/strategic on Altay When It is compared with K-2.
-Asked capabilities of Trkish engineers.
-Suddenly, You became obsessed with national contribution as If Everybody says Contrary to all other programs, Only Altay have "%100 Turkish".
-Then, Introduced your sensitivity about engine provider.
-Finally, You implied Future of Altay is "most probably" a failure or not seen cause of not being battle proven...

What's your problem ? I know you well that You have a problem with your mixed mind about some subjects so posting lots of idiotic comments/images which suits well with your personality introducing in PDF but Targetting Altay with all BS's based on your chaotic approaches doesn't be welcomed...

so, No need to respond any of your statements.

When 1000 Altay will be produced in 10 Years until 2015, this mean in the middle of 2017 the first batch of 250 Altay MBT could have entered in Service !

.
first batch may be a little bit slower than the other batches.if serial production begins 2015 (lets say 30 august), first tank outs from the line and be in inventory may be in 2017..
if the speed of production be 3 or 4 for month, it means first batch ends in 2020.... just in the time when m-60s begin retire .

I doubt it, carefull preparations will be made so it will be produced on full speed right away. However no doubt that some delays will finds its way since its our first time(if you dont count the turkish produced tanks of nearly a hundred years ago.), but that why most likely what we are preparing for.

Btw our M-60 will (begin to) retire much sooner then that.

@madmusti

Delays by armament Development Programm does not come by turkish Industry, in Germany for exapmle Tiger Attack Helicopter should enter 1997 in Service. The German Land Forces recieved their first Tigers in 2013, because of Series from Delays !

T-129A Versions are delayed too and the Programm starten for ~ 20 Years (ATAK I & ATAK II).

Now TSK will be reformed ! Why ? Do TSK needs actually a strong Reform ?

. .
Then I ask you, should Turkey only buy foreign Equipment ? In theoriy this could be the fastet way to built up strong armed Forces in a short Time ! There are many disadvantages within this Strategy:

- we can not deploy Equipment were we want
- the risk of Kill switches to make a high - Tech Weapon System useless
- Money goes to foreign Firms
- more debts by foreign Countries
- equipment could not be delieverd to friendly States

etc.....

TSK need to be Reformed, because the Duty of our Military is changing. Before 12 Years Duty of TSK was protecting laiecism and Defending Territorial Integrity. Turkey expandet politicly and economicly, we have interest in Balkan, Middle East/North Africa, Aegean, Cyprus as well Caspian/Caucasian Region !
