Its slightly sloped, quite similair to the German Leopard2A6. K2 Black panther is completly flat.

Just because the Germans tested a German autoloader and found it to be slower to manual loaders does not mean that it will be faster when compared to a new generation Russian autoloader.

I don't remember which army conducted the test (most probably USA) but it is found that an average crew can fire 17 rounds per minute. This is 12 for AMX Leclerc.

mate, 17/minute would mean 1 shell per 3,5 seconds that figure is most probably 7, not 17.

let's say it is. for how long would the tank crew be able to sustain that rate. besides, generally one-on-one tank fights don't last that much (3-4 shots at max, or as was seen in iraq, superior tank gets first shot kill against older systems).

Actually i was talking about the side armor, which are clearly sloped much like the Leopard2A6. The frontal armor being flat is not really that big of a deal, since the armor is always the thickest and concentrated there.

I personally think Pakistan will go for it. It's a new generation tank, it has been tailor made, it packs state of the firepower and armour and will be perfect for our landscape. It will give our large armoured divisions the finest punch anywhere in the world.
The Turks are our brothers period. It would be great to see Pakistan get involved with this. Maybe a Pakistani Altay. I guess we could call him "Arif" Altay's younger brother.
