Altay Comparison to Competitors

Just because the Germans tested a German autoloader and found it to be slower to manual loaders does not mean that it will be faster when compared to a new generation Russian autoloader.

Okay, in other words, how long take it to load a munition in a new generation Russian autoloader?

No one knows, the Armata uses a new autoloader.

Unmanned turret doesnt really mean it will get high kill ratio. what makes tank superior is its engine, manouver,

You know nothing. An engine and mobility will do nothing to help a tank survive. All tanks have very similar outputs and mobility anyways.

They say Russia secretly developed the tank, but the prototype that would go to Parade, breaks down twice(2) while testing around.

It's called a prototype and it did not break down. All prototypes have issues, this is why it takes years to design and built tanks, ever wonder why there are so many prototypes of tanks and aircraft and why they go through so many modifications? It's because nothing is perfect the first time. Anything that is as complex as a tank will have issues in its development, the same applies to aircraft. Look at all of the technical problems the F-35 program has had.

ALso, Russia’s Stealth Fighter Is in Serious Trouble
These are what i exactly meant high end products..
the active protection system you mentioned is nothing more than just a video..

A video that proves that, 1: Russia actually does have an active protection system, and 2: it really work. Talk is cheap, you have seen from your own eyes that Russia's active protection system works, whatever you say afterwords is verbal diarrhea.

In a war, no missiles come to you from the side (90 degree).

Actually most of the time they come at you from 90 degrees. Moreover, the Arena has 360 degree protection, so your blabbering means nothing other then the fact that you are jealous.

Why dont Russians let others to try it as they do the same for t-50?

What?

.
Not much point in arguing about this. There's not much information known about the Armata yet, and we will only know how well it performs when it's tested in battle. The Soviets thought using an autoloader to make the tank smaller, lower, and lighter would make it more effective - they were wrong. We will see in time if the new approach works better,

.
The other advantage is a large weight savings not only from a smaller turret but from lighter armor.

Desicion is yours !!!

What decision? And why do Turks always have to keep bringing up the T-14? Are you suggestion that the Altay is better protected? All one has to do is look at the hatch thickness of the T-14 and compare it to the Altay to gauge the level of armor the T-14 has, the T-14's hatch is about 5x times thicker then the Altay's, if the designers of the T-14 put that much emphasis on the roof of the tank then you can imagine the protection of, for instance, the glacis. Moreover the T-14 clearly has thicker side armor, and if you want to look at it from a design standpoint the T-14's design is inherently safer for the crew.

. . .
I think T-14's turret is so big & bulky... A very big target...

@ptldM3

So since we have been discussing non-stop in this thread about the difference between Altay/T-14, and which one was better, i would like to know your opinion on the final T-14 look. Personnaly i find it disappointing, the turret design is just way the bulky for my taste, would loved if they retained the original T-90 which has a lower profile.

Though i heard rumors the Turret is essentialy a mock-up, cant really confirm this though.

Yes, you Turks have been trolling none stop, as for the T-14's turret, it is clearly smaller then the Altay's turret. More narrow, shorter and tapered off at the end.

WTF. T-14 broken down during parade passage ? OMG...

At least Russia is not using a bunch of foreign parts and assistance in the T-14.

I think T-14's turret is so big & bulky... A very big target...

Look again, the turret is clearly half the size of the Atlay's.

What is there to comment on? You Turks clearly have an inferiority complex with constant chest thumping.

Mate you really need to chill, its constructive criticisme for the most part. Dont get all worked up for nothing. I just merely wanted your opinion on the final T-14, you're the one that essentaily started trolling...

Dude, I just asked you that Did you find What you told us about T-14 ? because The tank you described to us in a few days ago, not have any connection with the one introduced by your officials. Then coming here and claiming that It is half of What Altay has in terms of size. Do you really believe on What you are claiming ?
