MQM trying since they change the name to Mutehida, they have seats in AJK Gilgit etc Politics specially in Punjab hold by Choudhries Jagirdars Sarmayadars and relgious extremists and all are anti MQM type politics, whenever MQM got it's result coz of it's anti above elements I quoted they come under wrath Takhte Lahore, in previous few months their top three or four leaders got killed plus it's face a huge media trial to defame MQM, politics in Pakistan always dirty and stinky.

PESHAWAR: Twenty-two candidates of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) emerged victorious in May 30th local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – first time in the election politics of the northwestern province of Pakistan.
According to ARY News, 22 candidates won elections on MQM tickets in the recently held polls. Ten of these ticket-holders of the party returned unopposed in the election.
Two MQM candidates emerged winners from districts of Abbottabad, Chitral and Swabi and 12 candidates won the local bodies seats in Dera Ismail Khan, Haripur, Swat and Bannu districts after tough contests.
According to details, Sohail Wahab of MQM elected as vice chairman of a union council in tehsil Behrain of Swat. Naseema Bibi elected general councillor from Chitral, Mohammad Nawaz elected from district Swabi, Amjad Khan won general council seat in Swabi, Ejaz elected as youth councillor, Sarfaraz Khan general councilor and Perveen Akhtar woman councillor from Abbottabad.
Moreover, Salahuddin won as general councilor from Dera Ismail Khan, Israr Ahmed Khan from Haripur, Asmatullah Khan from UC Talib Abbas, Naheeda Akhtar as Kisan councilor and Dilfaraz elected member in union council Mandvi.

Lolz this haram khor need a serious spanking on his elephant a$$. Kamina karachi sambhala nahin jata KPK mein ungal mar raha hai.

Surely a regional party's attempt to become a national one are to be commended? Pakistan needs more national parties to defuse ethnic tensions. I think it's a good step but also a great gesture by the people of KPK to elect MQM in their areas.

Personally I believe MQM has more chances in Balouchistan than in Punjab. MQM has a pretty decent structure in place in Balouchistan, plus the whole establishment victimization has helped support among some Balouchis for MQM. Militant leftist Balouchis helped MQM during 1992 operation. I am sure there is a lot of goodwill among the people in Balouchistan still.
