Problem is money and power corrupts most of humans. Many MQM guys were middle class and lower middle class who did a lot of work for MQM and Karachi. Some are either dead, some become corrupt or some were just side lined. This is the same case in all political parties. I don't like PTI but I admire politicians like Javed Hashmi who are hard working individuals but were ignored by PML N leadership.

MQM still has a chance to disown its violent past. I think someone like Faisal Sabzwari or Mustafa Kamal will be the best option for MQM and its image.

How Javed Hashmi was ignored???. He was Senior President of PMLN.What else he needed?. He got 3 tickets in last elections. We Rawalpindian elected him but he left our seat and did not bother to take in confidence about leaving this seat. I was his fan and voted to him but after he vacated NA38 seat, I was no more his admirer.

there are four properties not 70, and all of these properties are not registered in altaf hussain's name but trust's name

MQM has a fund called mutehda qoumi fund, the 2% of every worker is supposed to give to the party fund, the MQF then uses this funds for party usage, this trust bears all expenses of MQM leader altaf hussain from basic needs to everything

let me give you one example

farooq sattar the prominent MQM leader had a car, when he started getting life threats, he bought a bullet proof land cruiser, now farooq sattar couldn't afford to buy land cruises especially bullit proof, bomb proof, he sold his car from few lacs, 25 lacs he got from his party fund, and one MQM leader provided 40 lacs to buy his new car

conclusion:

Altaf hussain has been under medical care because of his health, most probably he is in police custody for his interview after which he can be bailed out, if met police has any proofs, they will give him charge sheet, then altaf hussain will be presented before megistrate, after that case will be taken to the crown court

according to barrister iftekhar, the search of the house depicts that the investigation is still under process, so the police is still looking for the evidences
