every dual national making any decision on our country IS A THREAT PERIOD! reason is simple if the Sh*t hits the fan he will pick up his bags and run to his embassy! so please let us not even debate about what nonsense Altaf speaks!!

he time and time again proves himself to be a ghadaar!!!

Did you even read post #9 before responding?

Not only am I not disagreeing with you, but I would go a step further and have Altaf Hussain's Pakistani citizenship revoked for treachery to the country.

Sharabi ko sharab ke illegal hone ka, Heronchi ko heroene ke illegal hone ka aor Pagal ko uske siva sari duniya ke pagal hone ka shikwa to hua karta hai. Agar Altaf Bhai ko shikwa hai ke Dual Nationality pe pabandi keu hai to unko smajh aye na aye baki to sabko smajh aati hai :D

well written & very true buddy!

USA is the strongest and most powerful country and democracy in the world. It does not allow dual nationality at all. If you take up US citizenship, you have to renounce your other nationality. Period. No politics. No discussion.

This is the way it should be. You cant have your home and family in one country and 'serving' the other officially. This is against ethics. Dual citizens have divided sincerity. They are sincere nonetheless, but must not be allowed to hold position in any official capacity.

As for Altaf Hussain, the less said the better. He is a British citizen. Prefers to stay in Britain, yet runs a mafia like party in Karachi. What right as British citizen does he have to do politics in Pakistan? When he does not want to live in Pakistan, he does not want to return, he has given up his right to do politics in Pakistan too!

From Wikipedia, under "United States Nationality Law":

"Based on the U.S. Department of State regulation on dual citizenship (7 FAM 1162), the Supreme Court of the United States has stated that dual citizenship is a "status long recognized in the law" and that "a person may have and exercise rights of nationality in two countries and be subject to the responsibilities of both. The mere fact he asserts the rights of one citizenship does not without more mean that he renounces the other," (Kawakita v. U.S., 343 U.S. 717) (1952). In Schneider v. Rusk 377 U.S. 163 (1964), the US Supreme Court ruled that a naturalized U.S. citizen has the right to return to his native country and to resume his former citizenship, and also to remain a U.S. citizen even if he never returns to the United States."
