Ok so you take so much pride in the development of karachi during Musharraf's tenure. Ignoring the fact that street crime boomed in that time period. All the credit was given to the mayor of the city at that time Mustafa kamal. Who genuinely was a humble person and a hard worker. Tell us why Mustafa kamal spat on mqm and walked away? Was it the establishment? Biased BBC media? Propaganda against mqm by the whole world?

Karachi LEA has been FAILED to stop Crimes in last 8 years while They were Working quite fine in same Capacity during Musharraf's 8 years when Crime Rate was Very low in comparison. What else should I call it????Terrorism.

NA 246 Result is quite recent one and more recent one was what happened to Faisal Wavda last night when people chanted slogans in favor of MQM.

Zulfiqar Mirza was Interior minister only for 4 years that too around 2010 but Mqm activities( you know ) has been there since 80's so guess who was countering who is a matter of judgement..

It was just Mobile Snatching which is still Happening these days as well. It wasnt Target Killing, Extortion, Kidnapping and so frequent Bomb Blast so in this sense it was well under Controlled but when PPP took over they made it worse especially Zulfiqar Mirza.

He got a better Job with Malik Riaz A field related Job rather then Sanator Position which was all about Discussing Legislation. He did have some problems with Aamir Khan and his Haqiqi Stooges entering MQM as well since he was being part of MQM and his Attachment was Ideological one so he was suspicious that Aamir Khan group is actually coming to Reap the benefits of Hard Work which he and others were doing for Decades in MQM.

He Actually STARTED the whole Mess on the first place. So his 4 Years were Beginning of all the bad situations Karachi is facing till today especially when he Distributed Weapons to Anti MQM Aman Committee and ANP to counter MQM which he himself Admitted standing alongside Uzair Baluch.

He had Problem with Aamir Khan and his MQM Haqiqi Loyalist entering MQM AFAIK.

I don't think MQM was a Qabza Mafia to begin with. It started as a real party of the masses, but then turned rogue over the years.

Very cool headed and reasonable although i do feel bad for him as he is fighting a loosing fight. No matter how much he tries to, i don't think he has managed to convince a single member that MQM is not a terrorist organization. The writing is on the wall, MQM's militant wing will be dismantled and Altaf Bhai is going to jail soon.

Altaf hussain is not popular at all. Not even within the party. I think gazi has a valid point Mustafa kamal had issues with the party and he went away. So he wasn't really forced out. He was a good member. But this party can't stand good people who disagree with its wrong policies.

Its the legacy of all Pakistani politicians. Lantis (Cursed) always end up in jail some time in their life. Only exception is Imran Khan that went to jail before becoming a minister

I agree he has been defending the party patiently trying to answer our questions. I just hope he starts supporting a party that does not have criminal records and rather than having to defend it so much he can brag about it. He'll be an online asset.

Indeed, but i am willing to bet with utmost respect that he is directly a beneficiary of MQM's patronage. Parties like MQM operate as a Mafia, they hand out favours and benefits to gain public sympathy. Or he might have family members that are part of MQM.

I agree. The way he's still trying to paint mqm as a victim is fishy.
