AL's popularity suffers jolt, BNP's Jump.

I really want BNP to win in BD and Imran Khan in Pakistan..not bcs I like them but bcs I want to see how much words they can put into action.

^everyone has a price. We will make khaleda anti an offer she won't refuse!

.
if BNP comes to power, i'll take the first flight back home :D

. .
Clearly for business reasons I want to head back.

Its pretty messed up in Bangladesh, in order do start a business in Bangladesh you have to be politically connected.

Its just curiosity. BNP runs high on anti-India rhetoric and considers giving transit to India as Blasphemy while in Pakistan Imran Khan wants Pakistan to cut all ties with US and also gave a harsh warning to India on Kashmir issue. I really want how much of this promises they will keep once they come to power.

.
We have no problem giving transit to India, but Awami league gave it away for cheap, we reaslise India is the regional power and we have to cooperate with them, but cooperation doesnt mean bending over backwards and asking for it.

Hard to believe judging by the reaction of some BD members here. Some are of the opinion that giving transit to India will kill off BD industries, while others need India to build the entire infrastructure for BD free of cost and then pay BD to use this infra for transit.

.
A cost of $7 billion for the entire infrastructure is no peanuts. I doubt if the GoB itself (regardless of administration) can manage such a project given their record of the current projects.

Not saying that the transit is bad, it's just a dream.

Yes ofcourse, that why we are working on alternate route through Myanmar which costs us just around 150 million dollars.

@ How come you are comparing Imran Khan with Khaleda Zia ? Khaleda Zia is just one step away from power and Imran Khan ? I have lot of doubts even he can be a minister under some one ??????

This was what I meant. 25% including the minority. 8% Hindus and 17% dalit converts Islamic named bay-imaan Bengalis.

75% Bangladeshi muslims are scattered under different nationalists banner. Soon we will see the formation of mega alliance under the leadership of Begum Zia(BNP). Next story is Al-Fatah. :smokin:

@ The problem in Bnagladesh politics is that we have become muslims not directly rather indirectly. Most of our forefathers were the members of (Murids) various "Pir, Fakirs, Ulema Mashek".

@ These "Pir, Fakhirs, Ulema Mashek" came from various countries of Middle East. Some came from Afganistan, Iran, Arab, Turkistan etc so their traditions differs slightly. It is difficult to unite in the common platform. Let's take an example of your home district Sylhet. In the election of 1946 most of the people of greater Shlhet were the followers of something like "Anjuman"(Islamic political aprty). Jammat-e-Islami did not even believe on "Two Nation Theory". Through out the campaign they voted against Pakistan.

Jatio Party having 6% is about right, they still have a huge following in North Bengal where langol is still in people's heart.

@ It was and presently most of the members have left Ershad and joined either AL or BNP.

@ Jatiya Party is a one man show party. The day Ershad dies its party would also vanish from the scene of politics.

@ The heart is changeable.
