Alleged "Terror boat" Sunk by Indian Coast Guard | Fact or Fiction?

We don't like to do chest thumping stuff and beat the bush before investigation is completed. Right now our Govt is rightly clueless about the incident since the source was your Indian media yesterday. Here its not necessary the investigation should be made public or not, I am sure we are in process of compiling Pakistani version of the story regarding this whole episode. For now, some parts of your media has started raising the question of Indian version as stated in the topic starter post.

Get it right- the Indian Govt/ICG's account has in no way been found to be inaccurate or fictitious by anything this journalists or others have said. There are certainly a few unclear details and a few unanswered questions but nothing that contradicts the official story.

What has been found to be nonsense and entirely fictitious is the Indian MEDIA'S spin on this incident, nothing more.


Again, I'll ask you, is your govt actually conducting an investigation into this incident? If they are admitting these wrongdoers were Pakistani and I'll reiterate they have no jurisdiction to do so so what kind of credible findings can they come up with?

A) This operation was launched based on intercepts emanating from Pakistan. The intercepts talked about illicit activity.

ergo had there been no intercepts there would have been no operation and no dead smugglers/criminals.

B) They failed to comply with the ICG's warning shots and verbal warnings, would innocent people do that?

C) on top of B) they attempted to flee and it appears they attempted to scupper their own vessel rather than allow it to fall into the hands of Indian authorities.

What Indians are not realizing is the repercussions which may be faced by both poor Indian and Pakistani fishermen in the future. If Pakistani coastal forces starts firing, which they should not, at Indian fisherman after this incident than will Indian Govt take up the responsibility ? or may be they themselves want to open another front at the Arabian sea as well ? so I believe Pakistan needs to be wise here and let them get embarrassed themselves for the attention they were seeking for.

If Indian fishermen (by the way stop pretending you know these guys were innocent fishermen when it is a blatant fact they were nothing of the sort) do not comply with your authorities inside Pakistani waters (them being there would already be a crime incidentally) then of course your authorities have every right to use lethal force.

The ICG acted entirely appropriately and legally in this situation.

What you are trying to say is your authorities will start acting illegally in response to perfectly legal and legitimate action by the Indian authorities.

If the boat was followed from Pakistan then there must be more Pakistanis who had noticed it leaving? maybe start from there to find out who owned it and who were the people.

According to Pakistan, it has nothing to do with them. Was wondering whether they make a poor fishermen claim.....Since they didn't, suspicions on the motive of the boat increase. If they were not fishermen, then who were they ? Smugglers are usually going around under the guise of fishermen. Pakistan's outright denial actually starst to make this story much more interesting.
