It's a country where having a gun is supposed to be a right with no control over arms at all. Any enforcement of gun laws is seen ads taboo. Frankly, under these circumstances, shootings in the US are as shocking as bombs in Pakistan

If he was muslim and was mentally ill, he would still have been a terrorist with some bind-boggling Al-Qaeda link dug up in the hills of North West Pakistan.

Unless he was screaming "Jahweh is great" while shooting, or murdered those people in the name of a Jewish cause, I don't see any relevance in mentioning 'his' religion as a motivation for the killing. It does not matter one bit in what name people are killing, the result is death and destruction. Calling Islamic terrorists evil when western politicians are the biggest terrorists on earth themselves is kind of hypocritical to say the least, don't you think?

Sir, if people stops responding to it then it will die out. The moment you reply on such posts, articles, show your interest, the word "Muslim" again etch in other's mind. The volume of this word has been increased not only by the west but by the Muslims themselves. You are increasing the frequency of this word incident in minds of all the people so as it is mentioned anywhere, people jump to discuss on it.

This is called feedback mechanism and it is studied in understanding the response mechanism of the brain and the memory.

Start ignoring it and you will see the difference.

Perhaps Muslims should become more tactful and diplomatic like westerners. Muslims could start killing westerners in the name of defending "Middle Eastern civilization" for example. Apparently it's ok to attack and murder, if you kill in the name of anything other than religion.

You are wrong. As has been explained before, the motive, although unknown at this point of time, was definitely not religion. He did not invoke his God(s) during the massacre nor was there any indication that this was religiously motivated. Hence religion cannot be brought into the discussion. OTOH, whenever there has been a Muslim perpetrator of a crime, unfortunately, more often than not, there is a religious motivation behind the heinous acts. Hence religion comes to the forefront in such cases. One needs to make that distinction.

In this particular case, the killer was apparently extremely intelligent. According to some news sources he once presented some work on "temporal illusions" a study where human mind sometimes fails to distinguish between reality and fantasy - recollect the imagined characters of Dr Nash in the movie "A Beautiful Mind". The killer imagined himself to be the "Joker" from the Batman comics. His sense of reality was really distorted! In a weird and unfortunate way, he became the subject of his own study.

I know it won't be a solution but you can make a difference if you want. The sole purpose of these posts are to incite and make Muslims angry.

You can change the way if you posts Christians/Jewish in every post/article whenever a crime is committed by them, you can start a whole new game together. Why not Muslims start calling US and Israel as Crusaders like they call them Jehadis?

Its a propaganda war and it can only we won by counter propaganda. They are exploting the emotions of Muslims, why not give them taste of their won medicine?

Must have been the best paid McDonald Burger flipper because he paid $15,000 just for the 6000 rounds of Ammunition. Not to mention the big bucks he must have paid for for handguns and assault rifle.

BTW, he was a Phd candidate at University of Denver. Not exactly a High School Dropout flipping burgers.
