But what we urgently expect from Akıncı is to have an "Air Defense System in the air" with ramjet-propelled Gökhan A2A very long-range missiles.

There are many drone projects customized for tactical level and long range SEAD missions.

Intensive project activities are ongoing for each group of anti-ADS ammunition/drone types, depending on criteria such as flight envelope, range, and speed.

If you are asking directly about AKINCI, development and integration activities for KUZGUN and ÇAKIR variants are currently ongoing. In addition, work continues on a supersonic UAV launched from an UAV against air defense radars on the TAI side.

For the Ramjet propelled anti-radiation missile AKBABA variant, We expect the first test images to be shared in 2023. Ramjet-propelled anti-radiation and A-A missiles are aimed to be used both in jet-propelled supersonic UCAVs and in other unmanned system which are in the strategic class.
