Baykar may become the world's largest aviation company in its field within 10 years. Not just unmanned aircraft structural and avionics, they are becoming an enterprise that produces customized turbofans and turboprop engines for UCAVs with their subsidiaries such Black Sea Shield.

Turkey and Ukraine had established a new company, Turkey-based Black Sea Shield, in August 2019. Baykar owns 51% of the company's shares, and Ukrspetsexport owns 49%. Black Sea Shield is expected to jointly manufacture Ukrainian designed engines in Turkey. The intellectual property rights of the engines will also be in Turkey.

Any idea what's now after any additional engines from Ukraine are unlikely?


They al ready have stock the engine, first block will use Ukrain engine. Second block will be used for air engagement with radar, it will need stronger engine en will be turkish engine. Beside that Baykar partner up with Motor Sich, Blackshield engine company. So ther will be no problem for now.
