As part of The Field Expo 2021 Fair, Baykar and Ivchenko-Progress recently signed an agreement to supply MS-500 and AI-322F engines.
The MS-500 Turboprop engines will be used in the new variant of the Raider. The existing AI-450T engines used in Akinci will have 450hp, while the MS-500 engine will have 1050hp.

According to former defence employee Ibrahim Sunnetci, Baykar will acquire circa 150 AI25 engine for MIUS A, and ther will be circa 500 off the AI-322 turbofan engine. AI-322 will be used in Hurjet weaponized versions, a naval version will be designed and it will use 2 engines. Ther will be MIUS B and two engine MIUS for air superiority and they will use AI320.

Tbh, Greece trying to keep pace with Turkey will lead to bankruptcy again. Too many ressources are spent on expensive weapons taking away funds from other parts of society. To start with, Greece should aim for one platform, either the Rafale or F-35. Having both is uanessacry logistic costs. Secondly, a clear strategy should be developed. Greece cannot compete with Turkey in the air, land and sea at the same time. Strategy should be to make a Turkish offensive as costly as possible.

Apparently the Air Force wants 24 jet fighters of a new type at well. Now which one will that be,I don't know. But the Americans offer the F-35. We have to retire the Phantoms.
And tell me Agha,what would you do if your neighbor was being aggressive and constantly armed? Would you stop spending money to upgrade your army? Would you trust the neighbor not to ask more and more from you? We don't have Switzerland or some Scandinavian country as a neighbor,we have Erdoğan.

And yes,our doctrine is only defensive. That's the idea. But remember that Turkey is in an economic crisis as well now. They may be a bigger country with a stronger economy,but right now,if Erdoğan continues spending money on projects and weapons systems...you know.

You do know we're upgrading 84 F-16s to F-16V,right? And maybe getting 24 F-35s. Anyway,when exactly are they getting these 100 engines?

That's a helicopter turbine. Never heard of a turboprop variant.

Not enough when we will upgrade our old block 30 and 40 to Ozgur upgrade. American upgrades was for the newer block50 above, something about 150 f16 is that. The engines will be for MIUS stealth drone, later they will have stronger engine for air superioty drone.

Upgrading the AKINCI system from 900hp to 2000hp could provide a huge increase in ammunition capacity as well. In the near future, Turkey will have the ability to keep any amount (and type) of ammunition in the air 24/7.

Turkish defence industry is seriously upgrading. From sub systems to full systems, ther is no stopping anymore for us. When we fix the engine problem thing will go faster. For the supersonic missile they have delivered carbon composit material, quess what it is .
