AJK to expel 11,000 Afghans; bans 63 outfits in the region

hosting afghan refugees was the biggest strategic failure of our rulers. it gave us the drug and gun culture which cannot be rolled back now. send them to their own country. these ungrateful people have ruined our country.

2. How much money Pakistan got from US in the name of resettlement of Afgan refugees in last 30 years?

Hi,

Not enough---and even if it was enough---the price for the receiving country is too much specially a third world country----. A rich nation may absorb them---but not a poor nation.

If money is the attraction---then please take them away and see for yourself.

Hi,

As a father---I feel terrible for the children---for they have no hope and security---but then when I look at the behavior of the rulers-----they don't give a rats ar-se for them.

They are so filthy rich after being paid by the U S----conscience is not even an issue.

I accept your point. We absolved 1 CR+ East Pakistani during 1971 who never returned. West Bengal economy still suffering for that.

But what I feel that your establishment elites do not understand that. I am sure that most of the money you received neither went to Pakistan's wellbeing nor refugee purpose, but went to individual pockets and they are the decision makers. So till the money flow is there they will try to keep refugees by hook or crook but when then the money flow will dry down they will take their hand off.

Not only hate us while living among us, but harm us too. Before unholy Afghan Jihad (I call it fasad), there were no such things as Heroin (except in the films) and AK-47. We got these fantastic gifts from these thankless stone aged Afghans. Before 1979, Pakistan was highly progressive society and look around yourself now. Back in those days, seeing University girls with scarf was a rarity, now seeing University girls without scarf is a rarity. All this extremism is a direct result of the unholy Afghan fasad in which God knows why we gout ourselves into.

Hi,

I was at Karachi university around that time----70's---early 80's---Pakistan nice---calm and quiet---.

If you did not want to pray---no one looked down at you---if you did not fast----no one said 'don't eat in front of me ' or beat you up---you could just go to a restaurant that had curtains over them and eat your food---you drove around in Karachi 2-3 in the morning and no one bothered you---.

Hi,

The excessive money part is a misconception---. No refugee program pays enough---. Pakistan had to pay out of its own pockets to maintain the refuges and ultimately had to give them permission to get out of the refugee camps and go find residence and jobs amongst the general population----.

We are not telling different things. You are telling Pakistan/Pakistanis payed heavily for refugees. I agree with you.

Now to get the satisfactory rational answer of the question " why Pakistan is absorbing so much pain for 30 years sacrificing the citizen's interest"----- the logical answer is that it was beneficial for your decision makers. Do you agree?

Logical answer is wrong-----it became a moral obligation.
