I am curious why there are many APC variants which have the tires fully exposed. Doesn't it makes it easy to burst the tires which can limit the operations?

Tracks damage roads. Since these vehicles are deployed in urban centres, they will have to move over asphalt. Wheels are the best option to navigate over this surface. To compensate for its vulnerability, the wheels of APCs are generally run-flat tyres and have full operability even when punctured. Modern wheels even have embedded technologies that block punctures upon detection of negative pressure.
