Minus the Rs 3 bn loss because of Pakistan and you don't have such a rosey balance sheet. Am I right? :sarcastic:

.
Ok then why you shut down jet air ways ??The employees are begging on streets not to close jet air ways as future of their children depend on them .

Since Pakistan closed her AirSpace. LOL :lol::lol:

Dude the Air India and JetAirway's was there for decades and irrespective of what happen between Pakistan and India, they were supposed to be closed someday due to gross mismanagement just like Kingfisher. I bet you guys are considering yourself to be too important that you actually deserve. LOL :lol::lol:

I think Pakistan in a way sounded the death knell for Jet Airways. Air India's collapse is quite possibly nigh. :azn: Nah, all credit goes to Modi Chaiwala. :yes4:

I think they are still flying over our sea... ;)

I'll wait and see. We seriously cannot trust the ET claptrap being put out especially when ET is known for FAKERY.

Even IMF's girl cannot trust the data Indian gov puts out selectively. :haha:

Who is to say the Rs 3 Bn loss is being counted in those bombastic financial figures eh? :azn:

We'll wait and see.

Air India is very much GOI that its collapse will only remain your dream. What GOI is currently doing by not providing the bailout funds is that they want Air India to cut the unnecessary costs and loss making routes. It a way of tweaking the issue. Eventually the government itself will bailout the enterprise. Just wait and see.

Jets story is yet another of corporate fraud.irrespective of any Indo-Pak issue it would have been grounded by around this time. It is atleast a decade old crisis starting way back in 2008 or earlier I guess.

But still if you think Pakistan is the reason for the closure of Jet, so be it. LOL :D:D:D

@Nityam So are you posting fake news from ET because they conveniently forget the serious problems with Air India?

Air India reported worst punctuality, most flight delays in March

Some key titbits:

"The airline reported the highest number of flight cancellations, worst on-time performance and the lowest load factor (percentage of occupied seats) in March, as per Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) data. This despite a tottering Jet Airways leading to a severe capacity crunch in the domestic market. While other airlines booked incremental passengers and talked of leasing more aircraft, AI continued to report low occupancy and delays."

"Data released by DGCA showed 9% AI flights, or almost every 11th domestic flight, was cancelled last month."

"AI's load factor (number of occupied seats as percentage of total seats) was the lowest among all scheduled airlines at 80.8%; two in 10 domestic seats were empty despite the industry-wide capacity crunch and in a month when every other scheduled airline filled up at least 86% seats."

"Meanwhile, the source quoted earlier said at least 17 AI aircraft are currently grounded. The groundings are due to non-availability of engine spare parts."

It's gross mismanagement. Cherry on the cake: Pakistan doesn't help either. :partay:

For India's face saving value, you better hope so. :sarcastic:

Well with all these mounting debts and loans, if Pakistan can sustain and bailout your loss making public sector institutions from going bankrupt, why do you think Indian can only hope so, huh?? :cuckoo:

FYI, some of the Indian's indeed poor, that doesn't mean the nation is unlike most of our immediate neigbhours.:lol::lol:

@Tom M

I don't care about the punctuality, or Management or Mis management of Air India.

I only care about its profitability and for the last two years, its been profitable. :coffee:

That is the only thing that matter.

http://www.newindianexpress.com/bus...-net-profit-for-3-years-in-a-row-1896150.html

Air India Express registers net profit for 3 years in a row
The airline registered a net profit of R262 crore in FY 2017-18 as per the accounts placed and approved by the airline’s board of directors.

With 1 million/month going unemployed in India, 6 in 10 of working age say they can't find a job, IMF doubting GDP growth figures, 57% urban and 50% rural Indians now think India's economy is going down the hill; do you still worry more about Pakistan's well-being? Why I never knew you Indians cared so much. :undecided:

FYI, some of the Indian's indeed poor, that doesn't mean the nation is unlike most of our immediate neigbhours.:lol::lol:
If we compare size-wize, India has huge problems. Imagine if your neighbors were size of India with 1.3bn pop.

Don't forget the recent Rs3 bn loss from Feb till now to add. :azn:
