So you are taking Chinese Junk just because you have friendly border with them ? Junk is to be sold for poor countries and US,China pretty well know how to sell junk and to whom to sell . As PM said that aid is peanut in our development .Indian junk can be sold to Afghanistan and Mayanmar... for this you need transit aid from Pakistan & Bangladesh.

mate, u will make every Britisher to come to streets if that would had happened, Indian GDP accounted for 25-30% of world GDP before Britain conquered India, i think India & China were together contributing around 55-60% to world GDP at there peak, u can't imagine the total amount of money when inflation of around 200 years would be taken into consideration.
On topic: Just give us our Kohinoor back, to hell with the aid.
Bro I sometimes find it hard to believe how brits ruled the entire world. A tiny nation who was able to be the strongest superpower for 500 yrs and rule almost 70 nations.
We will not get out stuff back, but we will develop or nations to beat them in every field.
Actually, i wanted a discussion on Kohinoor diamond, can anyone clarify as to what is the position of British govt. on this, & why the hell is GOI silent on this issue, & why it is not DEMANDING to give it back to India.
To be fair in interntaionl diplomacy the general tone is very considered and reserved. For the GoI to demand it back would look very aggressive and to many immature. The issue of the diamond is hardly a pressing matter for the GoI.What needs to happen is a movement by the Indian public who call on the GoI to do so then they can address this with the UKG as they have a mandate from their people to. Otherwise it just looks unnecessary.
