Even now most wish Imran Khan to deliver on what he promised like civil service reforms or police reforms. Imran Govt. has gone slow or rolled back on their promises worse than PML-N. After the IG issue and NAsir Durrani resignation, the agenda for police reforms is not progressing. The civil services are making monkey out of Asad Umar doing extreme cost inflation. Every week there is a summary tabled in ECC to increase this or that price with some excuse. Bureaucrat mafia is feeling emboldened as Imran made task forcer after task force with not much purpose and then by-election results also helping their cause. PTI knew there will be blowback and they'll fight it out. What is happening is more of the same practices of PML-N govt. being done by Governor Punjab or Khattak's family politics in KPK.
The 2 bureaucrats to control the govt. machinery, Shehzad Arbab and Azam Khan are the biggest disappointment for PTI govt. after FM Asad Umar who is being controlled like a puppet of bureaucrat mafia with nefarious designs to fail this govt. and early elections by next year.

There are two practical solutions on how to tame bureaucracy.

1- just adopt the us model of administration and hire secretaries on Contract basis having solid expertise and qualifications related to that department or promote the departmental staff to that post.

Those existing bureaucrats with no desired skills be made o.s.d until they retire.

2- follow PMLNs foot steps - - - like how they used to hire csp's from level one - - - - - - -.

Pakistan Quarters: Stones pelted at vehicle of PTI leader, operation suspended for three months

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Enraged protesters—staging protest against eviction in Karachi’s Pakistan Quarters area—on Wednesday pelted stones at vehicle of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf s (PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman.

As per details garnered, Zaman went there to pacify the fumed residents.

On the other hand, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail stated that he had a telephonic conversation with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar. He took to popular micro-blogging website Twitter and stated, “ had a telephonic conversation with the honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan, regarding Pakistan Quarter issue. CJ has kindly consented to hold the evacuation process for 3 months, he showed concerns on [loss of] precious human life, I am thankful to CJ for accepting the request.”

Earlier today, police resorted to baton charge on residents who were protesting against expected eviction, as a result of which six protestors were injured. There are unconfirmed reports that a woman has also died.

Police also used water cannon and fired tear gas to disperse the mob.

The protesters, including children, women and men, started pelting stones at the police team and shouted anti government slogans.

MQM leader Farooq Sattar, Kanwer Naveed Jameel and Aamir Khan also joined the protest and demanded the government not to evict Pakistan Quarters that is residence of many people.

Farooq Sattar and other political leaders expressed solidarity with residents of Pakistan Quarters and appealed Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of the case.

The protesters claimed that they have the registries of their homes. They said that vote was given for ‘Change’ but we do not need such change in ‘Naya Pakistan’ that deprives citizens of their houses.
