Agartala conspiracy case was not false: Deputy speaker

If you ask me who is Nation's Father , i will say it is Mujib (he united the nation). If you ask me who declared independence of Bangladesh , i will say Zia ( 6th march , Mujib that time was in jail).

Yep, he has my respect for whatever he did for the independence, but about the later rule, nayh, he was a thug and failure as a leader.

Famine, giving government seats to many rezakars and criminals, leaving no options for the freedom fighters, pissing off countrymen and ye, one would be pretty stupid to piss off the army. He got what he deserved though  Note, many people were happy on the country being free of his rule.

Maybe, maybe not, but do you agree with the stance of P.A? i think they took a step in an incompetent way to make situation more complicated and worse, triggering the war.

Whatever it is, still the responsibilities were to the Pakistan govt/PA, they are accountable for start killing and made the blander.

Yes, the situation could have been handled politically, agreed. But as the conspiracies had been going on from before 71, so may be a war was inevitable ultimately, IMO.

PK showed its incompetency, agreed, but anti-state conspiracies were also involved which could not be tolerated from the perspective of PK govt. at that time

his son kidnapped major's wife from ongoing seminar. Mujib said give dal and ruti to army personnel for eating , nothing else. rokhi bahini was made to replace army personnels. These are main reasons for Mujib murder, you can not blame army entirely for what they did.

then Zia come to power and he copped 65 armed personnel , most of them were airforce personnel.

then Ershad come to power and he started corruption in the country.

all are same :hitwall:

Would Bangladeshis like to accept these stories if backed by solid evidences and revise this history and change their minds a bit?
What is the point of leaving with false stories?
For sake of so-called mukti-juddhar ego/pride when our independence is to be remained belittled to India?

Anyone agrees, that calling for independence on 7th March's speech my Mujib (abarer shongram shadhinotar shongram) compelled the P.Army to bring 25 March's operation search light to save the integrity of united Pakistan?

Well...we can't blame freedom fighters, they took the responsibility to save their people. All of them were not politically motivated. It was Pakistani authority who failed to manage situation lacking the required wisdom. The way army started the brutality was not tolerable. If it was handled politically, we could now point the fingers to our fighters. Thing is...managing situations in subcontinent are poor which lead to inevitable aftermath. Besides, there were many evidences of discrimination between east and west that would ultimately divide Pakistan. In fact Mujib capitalized it to run the revolution here.

why could the people be swayed by HIS words? because the rights of Bengalis were not given, although we were the majority along on breach of democracy, ie. the election which just made it inevitable. There were many stuffs going on, but the thing is that no history portrays both of the sides. One talks about all the conspiracies that were going on while the other speaks of all the injustice that were going on. Each overwhelms itself with only one view, hence making the situation biased and dividing the people into groups of two different opinion.

I never disrespect the freedom fighters, but now I wonder if they were manipulated and incited like the mobs in Shabagh today of which they were not aware of.

They fought for their beliefs, for the sake of keeping respect of their sisters, for the sake of their family, after 25th march, no one had any choice, no matter who was right, the discrimination would have increased. What happened, happened for good.

Yeah....I used the word capitalized. It's kinda same thing now at Shahbagh, playing with the sentiment. But then again we shouldn't forget the same people felt great relief within 4 years who made him demigod once. Situation could turn like that again.

Pakistani Army Generals - biggest morons ever walked on earth!

We should say pre- and during 1971 Pakistani Generals, we cannot discuss post-1971 Pakistan matters in that way, as it does not affect us and its not our business.
