After Nandi Pur project, questions being raised on LNG import

(Web Desk) -- Kamran Khan on his show ‘Duniya Kamran Khan k Sath’ has revealed that billions of dollars of LNG purchase is being kept secret while Oil and Gas Regulation Authority (OGRA) has also questioned the transparency of the deal. Kamran Khan also revealed that whether or not the LNG is imported, government is obliged to pay a $ 8.1 million monthly to terminal company.


The program said the 6 shipments of LNG have arrived but price formula is yet not known to public. From March 31, government is obliged to pay 272,000 dollars to the terminal company adding that OGRA has also raised reservations regarding the deal. According to the deal, government is bound to buy an annual one hundred thousand dollars of LNG.

I think the best possible solution is that bring in Oil and Gas pipelines from Turkmenistan and IRAN. And also linked them to China and India too.

And now we are so much used to these mega corruption scandals that no one is even bother about these huge corruptions. What these signs indicate for a nations ? You can see ordinary people coming and defending these corruptions, even though they have nothing to do with these scandals, neither they are getting any benefit. It's actually their loss, loss of public and they are defending it. Just because they vote that political party.

LNG agreement is not yet finalized with Qatar , how can u call it a scam ? uptill now all the LNG is being procured on spot prices and in Punjab after the payment of terminal charges and payment to SNGPL and SSGPL, the landing cost is 9 $per mmbtu . it is the best rate which is half compared to the rate being procured in India . While many fertilizer companies and many sick units which were closed are now fuctional with this LNG import .
