After Nandi Pur project, questions being raised on LNG import

As a nation we seem to have degenerated to a level; where all kinds of humiliations and insults can be hurled up on us.This is what is making these politicians easy to play about with our destinies.The corrupt parties are in cahoots with each other and will endeavor to deny the nation an effective accountability system,so that they can continue to operate with impunity.There has to be a development which while effacing the corrupt system by decimating the corrupt ,establishes an egalitarian system,matures it over a decade or so and leaves it politicians to work under a "Born Again" System.[/QUOTE]

LNG agreement is not yet finalized with Qatar , how can u call it a scam ? uptill now all the LNG is being procured on spot prices and in Punjab after the payment of terminal charges and payment to SNGPL and SSGPL, the landing cost is 9 $per mmbtu . it is the best rate which is half compared to the rate being procured in India . While many fertilizer companies and many sick units which were closed are now fuctional with this LNG import .

The issue is that you are judged on your past actions.Nandi our will go down in the country's history as one of the worst managed mega project.After all a horticulturist was managing it.

Mr Kamran has been active in promoting "Anti Pakistani" agenda quite some long

It is not rocket science that our power plants are contracted to use LNG gas , true or false - obviously true.
There is chronic problem for LNG gas shortages in Pakistan , true or false - obviously true.



So knowing these two elements what exactly is the Agenda of Mr Kamran ?

• Government has stated they will import gas from Qatar , and infact it was stated the supply has started a month back or so what is the secrecy in this?
  
• Is the Iran-Pakistan gas line project completed ? true or false false , its not completed

So knowing the circumstances , what option does Pakistan have ? Qatar "LNG"


Also worth noting is that our power plants , are producing 400-450 MW , and its mentioend once the LNG will come production would be boosted to 1000 MW so again shows that LNG import is done for a reason!!


Few days back Mr Kamran was criticising the Solar power project which is 100% legitimate clean energy project , done by International consultants from Germany and Europe with China.


Now he is calling out the problems with LNG ?

I think Mr Kamran Khan has to really reevaluate his criticism and focus on bigger issues

• Also note the Power projects that need Coal , are dependent on Sindh to complete the coal extraction projects who have been sitting on the coal reserves for 6 years
