After Formula 1, India to host World Superbike Championship

This is great- an issue many F1 circuits, especially new-builds, have faced is a lack of attendance by domestic enthusiasts and secondly no diversification in the usage of the circuit ie having the circuit only used once a year when the F1 circus comes to town. The later creates serious issues as it means for the most part the facility is not kept in tip top condition and also the Tarmac doesn't get enough rubber on it from tyres running over it. This issue can be an issue when F1 does come to town as the circuit will feel like an ice rink for the early stages of the weekend. Not to mention it is economically unwise to have such huge infrastructure projects lieing idle for most of the year. As such it is great the Budh's owners have got their heads in the game and seem to be making very competent calls. With all these types coming to the circuit hopefully there will be enough revenue to reinvest and iron out any issues that has arisen after F1 debut in India last year. With the "Sports city" being built around the circuit it certainly seems the foresight is there.

I also hope this circuit delivers tangible results to India ie igniting a greater love for motor racing and the such. And hopefully efforts are taken to motivate skills and passion at a grass roots level and inspire more Indians into the F1/feeder series driver pool. More needs to be done to create infrastructure at lower levels so not just big F1 circuits but small local karting circuits. India has impressed by getting numerous Indian drivers into F1- especially if you look t the entire region of South/East Asia almost all Asian drivers (excluding Japanes of course) are Indian! I really hope the Budh circuit is the catalyst to mor Indians aspiring to join the F1 fray and more attention shining on the sport from the Indian public which again inspires the youth to dream of such a chance.

Whats the property price in Greater Noida like? My dad bought a plot back in 1995 for 32,000 rupees:hang2:.

Is it worth building a house there, or better of selling it?

Its a gold mine, don't sell it now

Just wait for some time Taj Expressway will be open by next month, a ICC Cricket Stadium will also be there and metro will reach Greater Noida within next 5 years.
