What this ungrateful person doesn't realize is that, after the Soviet withdrawal, the Afghan civil war was very much along ethnic lines and, if it wasn't for the Pakistan-backed Pakhtuns, the OP and his Pakhtun friends would have been brutally murdered by the India-backed Tajiks and Hazaras in the Northern Alliance.

For an Afghan Pakhtun to prefer India over Pakistan shows an ignorance of history and a truly tragic level of ingratitude.

I have lived and worked with Afghans from the North and the south and I found them friendly, warm and lovely. regarding hate for Pakistan I think it must be one of those who have never lived in Pakistan or come in contact therefore one can rule out millions of Afghans from this hate claim towards Pakistan who have lived here since the Russian invasion and the Afghan civil war.

whats India doing? arming a side that has animosity towards the Pashton side? and hence its loved? wow.. why not the Pashtons and all others who will be facing the Indian armed groups now hate India for the same reason?

Pak Afghan relations go beyond centuries because our people share so much together. and they wont be affected by these articles.

Just looking at the thanks given by the Indians to the ALLEGEDLY Afghan OP,... one wonders if even half of these admirers are willing to accept even a few thousand of the millions of Afghan refugees that Pakistan has been hosting for decades.
More over it proves how desperate the Indians are for some courting words from a neighbouring country, even if it's from (cough, cough)Afghanistan.

A misleading title and a misleading analysis by the OP and as usual coming from an Afghan sitting somewhere in Europe - you're such an ungrateful lot and that's being the reason of your continuous misery. I've nothing else to say as I've few very good Afghan friends and don't want to disrespect them by putting them in the same basket with people like you and your mentality.

You should visit Peshawar and see the ground realities for once and to make it easy for you, you should probably visit the Govt. run hospitals like Khyber Teaching Hospital, Hayatabad Medical Complex and Lady Reading Hospital and count the no of patients being treated there - most of them are Afghans treated free of cost... even if you go to private hospitals such as RMI and Northwest General Hospital, you'd see maximum no of Afghans being treated there too. You should count on the positives Pakistan doing for you and your people.

There's a saying goes: Don't eat and shhit in the same plate... be thankful and grateful to the person who provided you the plate.

Dude, where else can they go.....as soon as they are dressed in a pink saree and their ***** are kicked, they come back with a new ID.....this is obsession of unparalleled proportions. The idea is to have a moderate united Afghanistan, under whosoever's rule - let it be Pustoons, or the Northern Alliance, the peace talks with the Taliban is to ensure that the democracy - however corrupt or bought u think it is continues in Afg. Afghanistan returns back to normalcy and sees some development and shuns extremism which is in the interest of not only all its neighbors but also other countries threatened by terrorism.

Pashtoons who are willing to accept this idea of governance are free to join the ANA I don't think there would be a problem with that.
