Afghans give Pakistan evidence in Rabbani killing

As it is, you wouldn't like an Indian or an American or a British or an Afghan diplomat to rub it in your face by saying and showing all kinds of dirty things in public.

Dirty linen is best washed behind closed doors.

Pakistan, though, does not seem to understand this language of maturity, sensibility and discretion.

At this rate, it wouldn't be long before all these countries start washing the 'dirty linen' in public. Although, it would be a greatly unseemly sight for Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Rabbani killing is condemnable and Pakistan should investigate & arrest masterminds behind this brutal killing (if they are in Pakistan as Afghanistan claimed) and punish according to Pakistan criminal law.

Diplomacy is the art of saying its night at day time. Doesn't mean it will be accepted in the court of law. This sort of diplomacy is done for dramay baazi.

If they had wanted to be mature about it, why tell the public that they gave evidence against Pakistan at all. Let the Pakistanis quietly and discreetly work with them. The tamashay-baaz Karzai wanted a tamasha - if that's maturity for you then I'm happy being the most juvenile person alive!

Tell me one thing very honestly. Will you notice it even if the Afghans tried to shout from the rooftops?

You noticed India's shouts because India had all the paraphernalia, namely, a powerful media, an omnipresent diaspora and an all-powerful lobby in most developed countries, at its disposal.

The Afghans do not have that kind of a support system to present their case, heck, the poor guys don't even have a proper country.

The Americans, British etc. cannot afford to shout from the rooftops because they have an interest in not going all out against Pakistan.

India did not have any of those constraints.

That does not imply that all those countries do not have the proof, its just that something or the other is preventing them from shouting from the rooftops.
