Afghanistan questions US policies on Pakistan.

Pakistan and Western forces are working together, US has two bases in Pakistan one for un manned Planes (free hand to used in NW Pakistan) and US Commandos are with FC.
US has a big spy headquarter in Peshawar and one of the biggest embassy in the world in Islamabad.
Indian and Afgan Politicians may say what ever but ground reality is different.

What do you think if US leaves Afghanistan would they like to see it as Pro Iranain or Russian (as India is sleeping with them too) "NO" but divided.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai is a very nice man.

He does not mean it..................really.

He knows no one listens him seriously.

He said this just to please the Indian Crowd.

President Karzai has to be content with the fact that he is still being tolerated by the Americans as the President just like the Americans are tolerating Pakistan. This is called the doctrine of necessity which outweigh all other doctrines. He in fact has a lot of commonalities with Pakistan in term of American love-hate affairs. Pakistan is safe from the Americans as long as their is no stability in Afghanistan and their will not be any stability in Afghanistan as long as Pakistan's national security interests are not kind fully addressed. Afghanistan, Pakistan , Iran and the Russians ( and the former Soviet states) are the direct parties in Afghan issue. All other parties are unsolicited and temporary.

What about the drone attacks regularly done by the US on Pakistani soil??? Every time there is an attack we hear from the Pakistani govt and military that, 'this will not be allowed' but they could never stop it neither had the capability to shoot at the American soldiers or the drones!!!! The puppet holds international credibility which you are losing day by day. That's the difference. But still all is not lost. Stop supporting Taliban (if you don't believe me, take a look at the forum's thread as to how many of your guys support their actions in Afghanistan) and stand against it genuinely.

We don't care what you do in your country but Afghanistan has seen wayyy too much bloodshed to think of any influencing there. If we were thinking for influence in the region (apart from just a friendly government there), we'd be putting conditions for aid. We aren't. Right now, your neighbour needs stability rather than regional dominance. Help it and it will help you back rather than helping a bunch of bozos massacre them and gain even worse reputation among the people.

The Afghans in your country are right now residents of Pakistan and their opinions don't reflect what's going on with the people living in Afghanistan and suffering day and night. Blaming NATO by cherry-picking rogue incidents will not help in the long run.

They have the power and authority to make countries turn deaf ear to you if they want. Stop supporting these mujahideen and taliban and stuff and we'd be on the same boat with mutual help.

India is very unlikely to directly hit Pakistan and they do not have the intention either. Finance has taken over war as the priority in India as the top most priority. There are people in India who do not agree with this idea but their voices are largely ignored by the policy makers in New Delhi. India is gradually becoming a business nation than a warrior one which is of course a good thing. Businessmen do not want war and they want to make money instead.

As far as credibility is concerned, ****, Karzai has credibility? Mate, I don't know what non-Desi people you are meeting, or non-Desi politicians you are talking about, but his credibility is as low as it can be from my experience..

You're the only neighbouring country immediately to Afghanistan, all supply routes through former USSR are monitored by Russia meaning that whether it is Taliban or NATO they'd have to use your territory for their purpose whether supported or not by your government.

The point is your territory is being used and the current situation in your country is because of this bullying and their supporting by rogue elements. Try to put a clamp on it.

Make no mistake my friend, these drone attacks are happening with the blessings of the Pakistani Government and Army.

And of course they have to say that these attacks are not allowed. Its just policy.
