a strong and independent afghanistan is in the extreme interest of India.
Rest assured we will do everything in our power to help you rise.

Very true ... the last thing India wants is Afghanistan to be a "strategic backyard" of any other country (as Pakistanis would like to perceive them ) ... the sooner Afghanistan progresses and is completely independent and stable the better it is for India !

. . . .
Yeah as per Pakistani member's logic! :D
BUt you believe on that philosophy  , I personally do think that we need to invest in A-stan in right sectors, but first we have to be in the position at where we can invest .
Just compare your Pakistan Steel mills with Steel Authority of India Ltd. before commenting and find out who are real thieves.:lol:
I think Bharat . :P ,

You mean in 2024 .... check the latest update they wont be leaving till 2024 .
Nah. Nothing to do with their ability or willpower. The way the global economy is going, depending how much cuts they face. It will become infeasible to put a foothold, and don't forget, Afghanistan will play havoc on their willpower to stay, peace or no peace. The only peace they can ever expect in Afghanistan is 'relative' peace, and that's not good enough for a long term lay-over. :D

It's all about economics my dear!

Afghanistan mapping provides an excellent window of opportunity to host and participating nations.

IMO the main beneficiaries would be:

Afghanistan: Local job creation and locality/community development along with excellent tax payments to local and central governments.

Russia: Will take over the regional transit through its proxy Central Asian states as the alternate routes are full of envious and dangerous factors.

China: Will get a chunk of the mining contract and will develop its own infrastructure like roads, rail to china and set up own processing center in China.

US/nato: Major say in contracts and will be setting up own facilities. Will be in charge of overall security inside and keeping the nutjobs away.

India: Will win lots of contracts and has been seen cosying up with Central Asian states.
Expecting joint ventures with central Asian states and Iran on transit and processing.

Yep, doors of investment will remain open for Pakistan in Afghanistan :)

They will be the boss you will be employs in their companies.

That even happened in China when western companies started investing in there and see the situation today who is the boss there?

It's the cycle of life, a person runs for good education then runs for good employment and then decides to become a boss!!
