Afghanistan calls NATO to isolate Pakistan from international and political platforms because of it

Except USA is gonna leave Afghanistan at the mercy of Pakistan when USA leaves Afghanistan officially. Pakistan will take charge for the political affairs of Afghanistan. The sooner Afghanistan accepts this, the better it is for Afghanistan and its long term beneficial with Pakistan. Afghanistan is isolated for the reason. Afghanistan has no credibility as nation, never had and never will unless Pakistan straightens Afghanistan out. Afghanistan input on Pakistan has no bearing on the reality nor posses any value in the world, but Pakistan does, and precisely why Afghanistan uses Pakistan as platform to migrate to the rest of the world. The sooner Afghanistan acknowledges its own shortcoming and cooperates with Pakistan for the sake of peace, the better for Afghanistan in the long run.

Does the Pak establishment have any secret agreements regarding Afganistan? Otherwise, how these Mafia folks get this much audacity? Haddini bildirin - show them their place. Thanks God they're not messing with Turkish folks...

It's all talks for show. In reality, Pakistan calls the shot as its run the political affairs of Afghanistan behind the scene. There is the reason why certain foreign elements [veg eaters] that collaborate with TTP and Afghan intels are getting antsy. As USA leaves Afghanistan, Pakistan will be running full-time operation to eradicate the terrorism and the cancer of Afghanistan/Pakistan. Until then, Pakistan is biding its time. :D

Its on time to fence the Afghan - Pak border, kick out all Afghans from Pak, and end ties. No business, no transport of material to Afghanistan through Pakistan. Iran will be fed up by afghans when they have to deal with this unthankful nation.

Knee jerk re-action, why is it that you guys cant logically think through what they are saying. Matter of fact its not just Afghanistan its the bloody whole world. You sponsor harbor and abet terror, so don't sook like a cry baby, when a spade is called a spade. Look at what you can do proactively to improve the situation and back it up with action's rather than chest pumping & getting further and further into international isolation.

President Ashraf Ghani's statement at the NATO summit in Warsaw that Pakistan must be isolated from international and political platforms because of its ineffective counter-terrorism actions, has earned praise from Afghan political analysts.

Speaking to leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on Saturday in Warsaw, President Ghani said that except for Pakistan, Kabul has the cooperation of every regional country in its efforts to achieve peace in Afghanistan.

Ghani's remarks at the summit drew strong reactions from Pakistan. Pakistan's ministry of foreign affairs said president Ghani's assertions were "unfortunate and hostile".

The Afghan government dismissed the statement by the Pakistani foreign affairs ministry.

"Pakistan has always pursued a hostile approach, while on the other hand their (Pakistan's) public statements were seemingly friendly. The leaders of national unity government adopted the right position at the NATO summit. They demonstrated the demand of the people of Afghanistan who want pressure to be put on Pakistan and that the dual-faced politics of Pakistan be exposed. Political pressure on Pakistan and resistance at home were the only solutions," political analyst Saleh Mohammad Registani said.

"Pakistan and Afghanistan, whether today or in the past, have been like two wives with one husband. The final decision is taken by their boss. After reading about Ghani's remarks in the media, they seem similar to those of Hamid Karzai, his intelligence chief and his minister of interior. I hope that Ghani proves it practically – one practical step is more precious than a thousand slogans, " MP Ramazan Bashardost said.

"It has been a long term stance of the president of Afghanistan that regional counties should not classify the terrorists into good or bad. That position was once again taken at Warsaw Summit. What the president said was that a consensus existed between countries of the world that international terrorism should be brought to an end. President Ghani's remarks, in real sense, were focused on the realities that can help to give an end to the war in the region," deputy presidential spokesman Shahhussain Murtazawi said.

Ghani's stance on Pakistan has also sparked reactions in the Afghan senate.

"It was the first time over the past thirteen or fourteen years that I saw that such remarks on the intervention of Pakistan in Afghanistan made at an important international conference. The Afghan president's remarks this time were very clear," senator Faisal Sami said.

During Warsaw Summit, President Ghani also highlighted Pakistan commitments for peace within the framework of four nation talks, but said that despite Islamabad pledges to cooperate in the peace process, it still divides the terrorists into good and bad.

Kabul believes that Islamabad only takes action against those Taliban forces who oppose the Pakistani policies and not the Afghan Taliban or the group's brutal offshoot, the Haqqani network that continue to wage war against Afghanistan.
Such statements are nothing but prove of the frustration Afghanistan and India are in.
  1. Fencing of border and success of Zarb e Azb has left their hired pigs either sifted to deepest pits of hell or left jobless.
  2. Return of refugee is causing a massive butt hurt not only for ANA but their so called masters aswell.
  3. ANA is still as usless it was in the past and doesn't stand a chance in the guerilla warfare with Afghan Talibans.
And how they plan to solve these problems? Blame Pakistan for everything.

Its high time that Afghanistan should decide how they are going to move on after USA leaves. Are they going to be India's lap dog and bark whenever they are ordered or improve its relations with its immediate neighbors.

They should pray hard for Trump not getting into power for he'll cut off the life support in no time at all. White folks have trouble maintaining their "way of life", and all other craps mean nothing to them...

From from I have read on these forums and articles within.
  • Do you know of India - Iran port and subsequent rail line to Afghanistan?
  • Do you know of Iran - Pakistan gas pipeline that is stuck and now halted? I believe it was once planned to go to India too, and pakistan was to make good transit money on it too.
  • Do you know of TAPI pipeline now halted( turkmenistan, afghanistan, pakistan and India)
  • Do you know Pakistan uses Afghanistan to export get to C Asia
  • Do you know Pakistan’s top export destinations in 2014-15 were the United States ($3.59bn), China ($3.16bn), Afghanistan ($2.32bn), the United Arab Emirates ($1.76bn) and Germany ($1.42bn). http://www.dawn.com/news/1226133. Imagine sanctions from U.S. Afghanistan and Germany would do.

You are an indian using the American flag

Pakistan should send Afghan refugees over to india via wagah

Pakistan is,was and will be isolate. Pakistan has never seen the relation of NATO be fore, what is the meaning of isolation for Pakistan?

According to Bhartis: NK. But that's just wet dreams lol. Pakistan is too important for that.

Trump is opportunist like Imran Khan. He won't do such things. Think of his campaign as election showtime. In reality, he will follow as the dictated protocol like other governments did. USA cannot afford to poke into angry Pakistan which its is leaving Afghanistan at the mercy of Pakistan to tackle terrorism. USA may have achieved its objective, but still failed to eradicate terrorism. USA will need Pakistan as long as the terrorism is not eradicated. Pakistan has proven record for eradicating terrorism. But veg eaters elements won't be happy though. They failed big time. :D

This guy @yolo2016 severely lack geo-political awareness when it comes to Pakistan.

Firstly Pakistan was sanctioned by the US in the 90's but did it stop Pakistan in acquiring Nuclear weapons when India exploded the bomb first?

Secondly he also undervalues China's views about Pakistan when they compare our relations as that of USA's relations with Israel with many times in the past China stating that "Pakistan is our Israel".

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2010/10/20101028135728235512.html

CPEC's primary objective of the many is to loosen the tightening neck by the US from the straight of Malacca and the trade agreement US has done with far south east Asian state in order to contain China, does this guy really think China would allow or tolerate a complete sanction on Pakistan and abandon us and the 40 billion dollar+ investment they have made in Pakistan? not to mention a potential participation in CPEC by Russia, Turkey and other central Asian states like Kazakhstan who have shown interest in the Past.

With a massive trade deficit US has with China good luck convincing our allies to support sanctions on us.

My man, first understand there was hypothetical I originally presented i.e IF we levy sanctions on Pakistan like N Korea. Seems like you are getting upset over a hypothetical discussion.
  1. You keep bringing up 90s sanction which was far far far less severe than the sanctions we have in place for N Korea today. WHICH mind you was the premise of my original hypothetical. So to compare with 90s continually is only self serving, and far from the sanctions you will face now.
  2. China values its trade and its economy more than Pakistan. China will not risk its trade with the international community, most of which is with NATO nations, to ignore our sanctions on Pakistan. Again, please keep in mind we are talking about a scenario where the U.S. if fed up and levies N Korea like sanction on you. And if we do, China will NOT give up circa 500 billion trade with the U.S for Pakistan

Afghanistan have been always anti Pakistan, a change of heart only came when these people had no where to hide when bombing started during USSR Afghan war & they had no where to hide, once the Russians left they went back to their old habit of blaming Pakistan for all the bad things, Afghan & Pakistan can never be friend Bcoz of border dispute the bad blood iwill alway exists no matter how hard one try & the anti Pak hawks sponsored by other country will alway exploit this....the recent fencing dispute & better border management activities carried out by Pakistan is also a factor of this rising anti Pakistan statement...

Oh bhai, have you ever talked to an Afghan nationalist? They consider Pakistanis as former Hindus they look down upon Punjabis, their hearts burn when they see that Punjabi Muslims have become stronger then them. It burns them from inside when they see Pakistan being more strong then their ancient broken *** of a country.

Punjabis are the sole reasons why these Afghans get heart burn, lol they can't comprehend this idea that Punjabis have progressed so much than their stone age country which will always remain like a graveyard. We Pakistanis (Punjabis,Pushtoon,Balochi,Sindhi and Kashmiris) will remain united and we will kick them haram khors back to their Afghanistan. If government will not send them back we the people of Pakistan will send these suckers back.

Please for God Sake Fence the border, then mine it.

Do whatever you want, sanction or not. Ordinary pakistani have to manage himself, he/she gets nothing from goverment of Pakistan. So ordinary Pakistani dont care about sanctions.

Pakistan is either a major ally of USA or USA put sanctions against Pakistan. Thats the relationship we have had for several year, and will have in future also, nothing new.

Sanctions or not China & OIC countries will side with Pakistan . No you cant compare Pakistan with NK, Sweet dreams :-) No Pakistan cant be isolated to more then some extent.

Afghans are living in a fools paradise. Afghanistan is a failed ragtag narcotic state that cannot take care of its citizens. They have a habit of blaming everyone around them and are unable to take care of their problems. The world knows this very well because it has invested now more than a decade in oppressive warlords who don't care about their country Afghanistan. It is the bitter truth and blaming Pakistan won't change these facts.
