Afghanistan calls NATO to isolate Pakistan from international and political platforms because of it

Do you know;

The pipelines is being facilitated by China and work has started.
Do you know Iran is interested in CPEC.
Do you know Iran has offered to set up refineries in Gwadar.
Do you know Iran is supplying electricity to Gwadar region.
Do you know Iran is negotiating with Taliban ?
Do you know Pak-Iran relations are warming up.
Do you know China is the largest trading partner of Iran?
Do you know the so called road itself will take years to be ready?
Do you know motorways Pak is building to Kabul through Jalalabad?
Do you know CASA-1000 is passing from Afghanistan?
Do you know Afghanistan still uses Pakistani currency?
Do you know Gwadar is the most feasible port
for Afghanistan ?
Do you know afghan exports and imports through Gwadar are free and no tax is deducted?
Do you know Afghanistan is massively dependent on everything on Pakistan ?
Do you know Pak holds millions of Afghanis?
Do you know afghans are hunted down by Iranian border guards and there is no cross border movement between Iran and Afghanistan like Pak?
Do you know even afghan soldiers are teated by Pak?

First, most all you cited are media reports, mine were facts. so and so said blah blah is not very dependent.

Second, my hypothetical was under a sanction scenario and being isolated like N Korea. Under those circumstances even China would pull back- Simply because of sanctions US imposes. Presuming you understand what a sanction curtails. Example: Just a U.S only sanction on Pakistan would mean no country that is doing business with the U.S will support Pakistan, if it wants to continue to do business with U.S companies. Nobody came to Iran's aid when we sanctioned it, nobody is helping N Korea now. You would lose 3 out top 5 export destination. No 1 U.S, then No3. Afghanistan and NO 5 is Germany- at a minimum.

Btw, tell me why you think Iran will cut it's own foot- and not be the premier port and land for all these exports, rather go help Pakistan in this situation? They are looking at huge investments and revenue for themselves.

Also CPEC is all about chinese goods to the port, not other way around. That is why your local companies have already started to suffer. But that's another topic, I digress.

Your 3rd largest destination for export is Afghanistan. They need you now because they are landlocked. But once India and Iran port and rail line direct into Afghanistan is in place- They will cease to be landlocked in terms of export. Of course under this hypothetical sanction scenario, they will also cease importing from you i.e. Remember the article we are discussing here

You may not like my scenario, but my scenario based on IF U.S gets to point where we decide to sanction you like N Korea. Then it's bad times for Pakistan.

Remember Pakistanis: to be Pakistani is by heart, not passport or birth certifcate! I am shocked that this concept of nationality being given on the basis of birth becoming ever more accepted in Pakistan irrespective of anything else. I just learned this sad truth from a Pakistani (who usually lives in Pakistan) I met today when we were discussing these sorts of issues.

No matter what the NATO created Afghan state post 9/11 say or do; Pakistan can remain strong as long as she maintains her identity.

:lol::lol::lol: its like comedy:lol::lol::lol:

You want to sanction a country with 200 nuclear warheads and one of the largest militaries in the world and at the same time not risk destabilisation of a nuclear power, emboldened right wingers and increased tensions.

Your a genius, you must be a trump supporter

Let me tell you a little secret chabahar is a con, its a way of arm twisting Pakistan into playing ball allowing access to india to and from Afghanistan, central asia and beyond and even iran. Except that Pakistan isnt playing ball.

Afghanistans major towns and cities are generally close to the Pakistani border for them linking into the Pakistani market, road and rail networks is the easiest and cheapest thing to do, if Afghanistans mineral reserves are to be hard then the Taliban need to be shackled and Pakistan bought onside.

Chabahar is not even a proper deep seaport, it is unfeasible for Afghanistan to set up an entire transport system straight through the heart of southern Afghanistan infested with Taliban in order to go the long distance to the Iranian border, then down irsn to Chahbahar load onto ships and across to india avoiding pakistani sealanes or EEZ and vice versa

India can of course try but it will need to invest multi billions not the chicken feed it has at the moment and even then it will need s Taliban free Afghanistan otherwise BOOM.

It can try to get resources from central asia but then rather then going North from india straight to central asia it now has to go south to a designated port Gujrati or Mumbai maybe load onto ships, across the sea avoiding our sea lanes, unload and then the long trip up iran just to reach the first CA state
Thats alot of hoo haa

Not to mention CPEC is on the cusp of completion whilst india has been moaning about chabahar since the early 2000s

So you see there are alot of possibilities but trying to out flank Pakistan is not eo easy, economical or feasible

It will not be the first time. Last time they put sanctions, we came out with even more nuclear devices. Sanctions don't work against Pakistan and US knows that very well. You are Welcome to try that. Afghanistan will be ruined if it tries to become cheer leader of such non-sense. Pakistan will respond to punish Afghan government. Afghan government is as fragile as they come.

This guy @yolo2016 severely lack geo-political awareness when it comes to Pakistan.

Firstly Pakistan was sanctioned by the US in the 90's but did it stop Pakistan in acquiring Nuclear weapons when India exploded the bomb first?

Secondly he also undervalues China's views about Pakistan when they compare our relations as that of USA's relations with Israel with many times in the past China stating that "Pakistan is our Israel".

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/features/2010/10/20101028135728235512.html

CPEC's primary objective of the many is to loosen the tightening neck by the US from the straight of Malacca and the trade agreement US has done with far south east Asian state in order to contain China, does this guy really think China would allow or tolerate a complete sanction on Pakistan and abandon us and the 40 billion dollar+ investment they have made in Pakistan? not to mention a potential participation in CPEC by Russia, Turkey and other central Asian states like Kazakhstan who have shown interest in the Past.

With a massive trade deficit US has with China good luck convincing our allies to support sanctions on us.

We have to blame ourselves after decades of refuges and no visa free trade end is this yet knowing hostility of Afghanis both diplomaticaly and on border yet we allow snakes to live as refuges

Being a storage country like Afghanistan do not suit them but yet they do it they knew we are worlds top stupid nation won't do anything

From from I have read on these forums and articles within.
  • Do you know of India - Iran port and subsequent rail line to Afghanistan?
  • Do you know of Iran - Pakistan gas pipeline that is stuck and now halted? I believe it was once planned to go to India too, and pakistan was to make good transit money on it too.
  • Do you know of TAPI pipeline now halted( turkmenistan, afghanistan, pakistan and India)
  • Do you know Pakistan uses Afghanistan to export get to C Asia
  • Do you know Pakistan’s top export destinations in 2014-15 were the United States ($3.59bn), China ($3.16bn), Afghanistan ($2.32bn), the United Arab Emirates ($1.76bn) and Germany ($1.42bn). http://www.dawn.com/news/1226133. Imagine sanctions from U.S. Afghanistan and Germany would do.
There is nothing wrong to dream and pipe dreams r always great .

To Afghans. Pakistan dont need any service from Afghanistan. Pakistan kan manage trade, commerce, travel etc without Afghanistan. Its not Afghanistans concern how Pakistan manage trade with central Asia etc. Pakistani people dont want any contact with Afghans , leave Pakistan.

To Goverment of Pakistan. Make 10 meter tall wall on the Afghan border, so Afghan people dont come into Pakistan.

You mean isolate it like N Korea?

Purely academically speaking- what does it look:
1. India, through the Iranian port, can allow Afghanistan access to India, and the sea w/o going through Pakistan.
2. Afghanistan can cut off Pakistan from direct access/route to central Asia i.e. make it go through long expensive uninhabitable Chinese terrain to get to C Asia.
3. Afghanistan and India can eliminate Pakistan from any trilateral energy pipeline too. Afghanistan and other C Asain gas rich countries can go through Iran, and subsequent Iran-India pipeline. They all want to sell to the huge Indian market and its energy needs
3. U.S can help with severe sanctions to cripple Pakistan's economy, like we have on N Korea.

No way they could ever isolate Pakistan unless they want suicide if that was the case you would have done it by now. Afghanistan is completely dependent on Pakistan for majority of their supplies- Pakistan is still by far their largest trade partner overall.Thousands of afghans enter Pakistan for education, work and medical treatment. During times of tension it's Pakistan that has closed it's side of the border for just a few days and Afghanistan comes begging to re-open the crossings when has it ever been the other way round ? Even if somehow it was possible it would make no difference to Pakistan anyway since we don't depend on them for anything.
Chabahar is just not enough to sustain Afghanistan on it's own. Pakistani population has grown over 200 million now very close to overtaking Brazil soon and by 2050 it will be the 4th largest population relations with Russia are also growing it's simply too large and important at this point to ever be ignored.
Besides that if Pakistan ever is that desperate to use Afghanistan as for C Asia access(when there are plenty of other options so even for this we don't need them) it's also very easy for Pakistan to annex the Wakhan corridor :P

Does the Pak establishment have any secret agreements regarding Afganistan? Otherwise, how these Mafia folks get this much audacity? Haddini bildirin - show them their place. Thanks God they're not messing with Turkish folks...

He said no such thing in his statement. As usual afghan media is trying to add spice to curry. He didnt call for any isolation but did say pakistan is not friendly toward afghanistan.
