Why didnt India send a team?

A great effort by BD and Afghan teams, they deserved it and badly needed some recognition at international level. Especially BD team who are playing international cricket for more than a decade now. They have tasted a victory and will try to make a habit in future too. Afghan team, a nice start and hope another Asian country will become ICC member with at least T20 and ODI status soon.
My congratulations to both BD and Afghan teams for their hard earned and well deserved Gold and silver medals.
