I didnt make it up, the punjabi site is saying so. And i didnt say whole shiekhopura but a village.
Moreover old pathan population of punjab is dwindled. Forexample pathan colony of kasur, was strong and numerous enough to bring more than 30,000 pathan soldiers against ranjeet singh but todays kasur has no traces of pathans.
This does not make one bit of sense. What ever the site says is false. There is a reasons character of his love story are jats...
I doubt there was even one village in central punjab of pastun land lords...
This is the only reference i found,
History: This wanting world by Dr Manzur Ejaz
I am pretty sure if that was the case then one would find alot more about pashtun in his poetry then just Afghans invading. Heer is social commentary of that time.
Who cares what the cockroach thought and wrote, who the hell is Waris shah some drug crazed working class cockroach.
All losers cry Waris Shah is no different.
Don't insult Waris Shah. Its like insulting Kushal Khan Khattak.
Note his place of birth, jandiala sher khan (shiekhopura), had predominantly pashtun population and they were the land lords of the town. It seems he had developed resentments against his pashtun feudal lords from his childhood.
Waris Shah was punjabi sufi, for him every human being was equal.
